The bus stopped, the bus doors opening to let old and new campers out. A red haired male got out of the bus, a bored expression on his face. It contrasted with the large smile on his honey haired friends face.
David was not looking forward to an entire summer at this stupid camp. Jasper, however, was excited for this. It was going to be so much fun...For Jasper, atleast. And maybe David would warm up to it, who knows? After all, the world was full of surprises!
A girl got out of the bus, her hair in a ponytail. Her brown hair, and her dark skin, was a very nice shade. She also looked bored, but there was a shard of excitement in her. Who knew what was possible at Camp Campbell? Not these three, that's for sure!
A tall man, with a mustache to top his 'not at all intimidating' looks smiled down at them. "Welcome, to Camp Campbell!" He said enthusiastically.
Obviously, the enthusiasm was fake. Everything he did was fake!
"Ow!" David yelped, something had attacked his foot. He looked down and scowled. "Dang, this place.." He muttered, picking the small shard of glass from his foot. He looked up at Mr. Campbell. "Where the heck'd this glass come from?!" He demanded.
The man's eyes narrowed, he crouched down to David's level. "It came from the ground." He said. His words weren't even that intimidating, if that was what he was trying to be.
David rolled his eyes. "Of course it did, but why the heck was it there? Do you use glass to attract mermaids because its shiny or some hay like that?" This place was an utter joke, all he had to do was prove it to his very cheery friend.
Jasper watched the interaction between his friend and Mr. Campbell. Geez, was David trying to get himself kicked from the camp? That wouldn't be very good! And, wait...Nevermind!
Gwen, who was 8, watched. The shard of excitement stayed. Wooh! The red haired boy was quite cool, if she said so herself!
Mr. Campbell stood to his full size. "Well, get going!"
The kids ran. Fun and chaos. Woohoo, people! Woohoo!
