Marceline never really put much thought on boys or make up or the color pink. Thought like that weren't important to her. But to Bonnibel Bovine, thoughts like that were very important. Those things were on her list right next to science. But Marceline didn't care for anything like that. And she didn't want to start caring.
Bonnie was firm when she said they should move to Marceline's home town and Marcy hadn't given it a second thought until Fionna suggested it too. Apparently, Ooo city was getting boring. It was decided as the tall girl was eating her lunch and Bonnie and Fionna ran in, cheeks red, hair swishing that they had indeed found a place. Marceline went face first into her mac n cheese.
They had found a place close to Marceline's old house. She wondered, on the way there, if Marshall Lee or Ash still lived there. If they did, Ash was probably buried in Marshall's back yard and if Marshall Lee was sitting on his porch, smoking like he did every day. They passed his house and he want there. Bonnie and Fionna didn't even know him, so they didn't think much of it when Marshall Lee wasn't smoking on his porch and his cat; Shwabelle wasn't laying on the steps and when Ash or Bubba were standing in his yard, arguing with him about stupid shit.
Marceline thought it was odd. Didn't he still live here? No, probably not. Bonnie had grabbed the rocker's arm and pulled her up the steps to their new house. It was simple with red bricks and a porch. It was small and rickety, like every other house here.
It took all day, but they got situated and sat on the porch. Fionna was the first to speak. 'I'm so excited!" Came her high voice and Bonnie nor Marceline seemed to hear her, as Bonnie was reading a book and Marceline was staring at the street.
Then another voice. " Marshall Lee Allamen, you asshat!" Keila? No, it couldn't be. Then Kyle's voice, laughing. Marceline stood up and saw Keila trying to get something from Marshall Lee's hands. "Marshall!" Keila snarled and reached for it. He held it above the vampire's reach and Kyle snickered. Then Keila looked over and her eyes locked with Marceline's.
