She was a firework
She was screaming deep inside, everything hurt; it was like she was burning from the inside. Tears were streaming down her face as she tried to save him. She had almost no chakra left but still Sakura carried on trying to push every ounce of it out of her. For him, it was all for him…
He couldn't die, she wouldn't let him leave them again when everything seemed to be going back to the way it was before.
"Foolish woman, there is no use. This Uchiha was destined to die here and now, he lost a lot to obtain his eyes and now he lost himself." He was heartless; he killed and killed never looking back this Madara Uchiha… But he was lying, because she will save her teammate better she died than him. "Rather I die now than him by your hand, you madman" , "Sacrifice..huh,why?"
Madaras words only encouraged her to try harder, to push herself even farther. 'Come on. Why isn't this working? Try harder!' she constantly yelled at herself.
"I'm not going to let him die, I won't lose him again…After all those years , after the lives we lived, after everything me, Naruto, Kakashi – sensei and Sasuke – kun went through – it cant and it won't end here. Sasuke – kun is crazy strong, stubborn like hell and he…he is an avenger that means he won't give up!"
Madara only looked at her, this sight before him was sickening. But he somehow felt satisfied by looking at the sorrowful and pitiful woman near him. He didn't stop her because he was sure that nothing she will do can bring Uchiha Sasuke back, it was his end, Madara was sure of it and the only thought was about achieving his goal.
"Sasuke – kun, fight, just fight and I promise you that we will defeat him, we will all live and go home. We will be happy, we will fight with each other and go on missions. I promise that I will punch Naruto a hundred times for being annoying and loud, Kakashi sensei will be as late as always and you will be free from what is holding you down, we will have our happiness…I promise you that we WILL be happy!"
The pale kunoichi kept murmuring to herself, chanting and believing that Sasuke will hear her and open his eyes. "WE DON'T NEED YOU MADARA AND YOUR SICK WORLD TO BE HAPPY! WE WILL BE HAPPY WITHOUT YOU!" Sakura screamed and all of a sudden the last bits of her chakra emerged on Sasukes body. All around them froze as Madaras eyes went wide.
It all happened in seconds when a huge blast of chakra emerged from her hands. A green, almost blinding, light spread out from her and it seemed like it changed the color of everything around. At that very moment Sasuke Uchiha opened his eyes and it seemed like the world itself opened out, a new day it seemed had come.
The power that came from Sakuras belief and pain turned into a something that demolished fear around her. Sudden warmth came to Sasukes body and all that he managed to see last was her smile with eyes already closed. He had risen like a phoenix from ashes but she… she fell.
Her life force like fireworks announcing a new year, a new beginning but dying out at the moment of glory.
"Sakura – chan! NOOOOOO!" was what Sasuke heard and now he knew. He was once again becoming an avenger but this time it was not his brother or his clan that he was going to be avenging.
