A/N: More English poetry; free verse this time! :D This worked better in my head than it did on paper.

You can't see yourself

Unless you look in a mirror

Trying to turn yourself inside out'll just get

Your skin and conscience in a knot

I've tried, so I would know

.

Well, I think I finally found a mirror

To show my reflection flawlessly –

You were my mirror, did you know that?

I looked to you and finally found

I'm not so empty after all

.

How you see me is so much

Better than who I really am, so

I'll polish up my own mirror

For myself, and for you

So you can see how beautiful you really are –

.

Your liquid blue eyes, like deep clear seas

And laugh like silver bells –

I'm sure I sound ridiculous

With my use of similes right now

But get it memorized, 'cause it's true

.

I hope someday I'll help you half as much

As you've helped me to see

When you've lost it all, when you feel alone

And in the dark where the stars don't reach

You can still find mirrors to reflect the light that lies unseen

.

So we'll be each other's mirrors

And I'll reflect your glow for eternity.
