Big Mistake
Disclaimer: Set after last year's Earth-X event and is something that was essentially inspired by Twitter chat recently. Warning, this will NOT be for Felicity Smoak fans.
20 Minutes After The Big Battle
It had taken the Speedster from the future to find a nice hiding spot that no one would think to look for him in and even though it was kind of a dump, Eobard was still none the less quite satisfied with it. "Ohh Barry, so foolish to let me live. As one day, that WILL be your undoing." Promised the man to himself darkly as he plopped down on a couch that had seen some better days.
An idea then popped into his head and using his speed, Eobard quickly got himself a Corona and a bucket of Chicken. "Ahh, the good stuff!"
Once he was done with that, he decided to raise up his forearm and ask Gideon to show him the future. And show him she did, but what he saw wasn't right in any shape or form. "Gideon… What the Hell is all this!?" He asked in alarmed horror.
As the future events he had known of so well had all been replaced to some degree or another with things related to Felicity Queen-Smoak and her company, Smoak Tech. It was enough to make the man a bit green in the face. "It appears that your words to Ms. Smoak that she wasn't ever heard of in the history books had quite the opposite effect that you were intending. As because of them, Ms. Smoak was driven to ensure that her name and actions were known in the annals of history. Because of this, your actions have managed to twist the future into something truly unrecognizable." Informed Gideon while secretly enjoying the fact her thief was getting a form of comeuppance for his utter foolishness.
Eobard just stared on in horror as he read various things. Especially of how even certain villains he himself had come to deeply respect had somehow managed to become huge fans of Felicity's. To the point a few had even willingly given up their despicable ways to come and work for her at Smoak Tech. Some information spoke of how Oliver Queen had become nothing more then a doting father and loving husband with no self respect for himself and a badly out of shape body. Even having allowed his best friend and brother, John Diggle, to take his place as the fabled Green Arrow. "No..."
He couldn't, wouldn't, let this stand! "This can NOT be allowed to happen! It can't! I won't stand for it!"
The future to some extent, had to be protected! And he would rectify this horrifying mistake! And so, he rushed off to find Felicity and luckily for him, she'd be alone in a STAR Labs bathroom. His sudden appearance caused her to jump in fear as she took in the sight of his angry and vibrating self. "What, what are you doing here!?"
"I've come to fix a horrible mistake where you are concerned, Smoak." Declared the man with a dark voice as he stepped closer to her and raised his hand up as it vibrated.
Something she looked at with fear written all over her face as she had no where to go. "Wha-What do you mean?"
"Just know this isn't personal. Just that its a means to an end to ensure the future is protected from the likes of you."
And with that, he sped up to her and jammed his vibrating hand through her chest and into her heart. Effectively killing her as she stared at him in a horrified manner. With that done, he pulled his hand out and sped away, allowing her body to fall to the ground as he did so. Gideon would helpfully confirm that the future was back to normal with his action. Making for him to breathe a huge sigh of relief while the souls of Havenrock were able to finally rest in peace due to what he'd done. Though there would be some slight friction between Oliver and Barry where Eobard and Felicity was concerned for a time.
