Author's note: Yay, I finally gotten this up! Now I know I have not been a regular presence or practicality none existent in this archive and not making this a normal thing, but I could not resist making this fan fic when I thought it up. I have seen a full episode of the anime in a good while and never read the manga, so you spot any factual errors; you know reason.

Also feel free to voice your criticsutm I would like to know what I did wrong, change it and how to improve upon it. I do not want to be stuck at the same level forever.

Let's get on with the fic shall we? We wish luck on my first Fruits Basket story.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that made you think 'just what the hell is going on?" Well, that was what a certain representation of the cat, Kyo found himself in, on one typical day. Kyo was walking in the hallway of his fellow zodiac member, Shigure's house when all the sudden he heard some noises coming from behind a closed door. It sound like someone was banging on the floors or/and walls and demanding something. This made kind of curious and like the old saying 'curiosity killed the cat' the orange haired teen put his on the door tried to listen in, despite something in the back of mind telling him 'Bad idea.'

"I-I don't want to!"

"Huh?" He whispered. The voice sounded like another fellow zodiac member and Kyo's rival Yuki. Questions raising, he kept on listing.

"Ha, ha, ha; But I need you for this; this is our chance to bound as brothers!"

"Damn it! He's here, too?!" He thought, hearing the voice another one zodiac, Yuki's older brother, and the biggest pain in the asses he and Yuki knew, Ayame.

"Aya's right Yuki, you're perfect for this!" Kyo quickly recognized this new voice as another fellow zodiac, Shigure. This kind of worried the orange haired teen. Whenever Ayame and Shigure are together in the same room, it usually never ends well for him, and Yuki for that matter, but with his curiosity and his lack better judgment he kept listening.

"Why couldn't you get Momiji do it?!" Yuki demeaned.

"It doesn't look good on me!"

"Come on, Yuki this is just for today day!" said Ayame.

"I don't care! I 'am not going to do it!"

"Come on Yuki;"

"NO! I 'AM NOT GOING!" Yuki screamed, before a bunch of knocking was heard. Curiosity level reaching its peak, Kyo could not take it anymore and opened the door, where he found a scene he would not soon forget; Yuki back to the wall with a maid outfit, while Shigure, Ayame, and Momiji in front of him with Ayame holding mouse ears, headband. All poor Kyo could was stare in pure putrefied shock, while every on beside Yuki stared at him with surprised faces and Yuki looked at him with a mix of surprised, a blush, and a hint of pleading for help.

At that moment, Shigure greeted him "Oh? Hey Yuki" with his usual cheerful smile.

Soon the orange haired teen bounced back and demeaned 'WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!"

Just then, Shirugre spoke up "Now, Now Kyo; there's a good reason for this;"

"What the hell is it?!"

Ayame soon took a few steps towards him with a smile on his face and replied "Well, some new reporters wanted to do a fasion show about my store, when they told me I could not believe it, I was so overjoyed that I told them that I told I will have some models for them. I gotten most of them from regular customers of mine, except I had a few outfits that did not fit any of them, so I thought long and hard on who can wear them, until I remember my dear little brother and all the bounding we could do; there was no way I was going to pass up thus chance. I asked Shigure and Momiji to help me. We got plenty for you too" All the sudden, Ayame held out a maid outfit and cat ears.

"LIKE HELL!" Kyo shouted, as he ran away as fast as he could, leaving everyone to do their own thing, though a small part of him felt guilty for leaving his rival behind.
