Intellect is a key in life; it leaps you away from childish thoughts and makes you see the darker, more callous factors in life so you would transform them into the goodness we need. We follow our dreams so we can achieve working with what we love, and make the world a perfect place. But what of the prodigy's insecurities getting in the way?
Most families have aspirations for a chosen child as the key to their prospering future and to pressure them would make them lose their sanity than a potential career. Studying ruthlessly and constantly being under the microscope wouldn't make intellect a lease on that child's life, and if they failed, what more would they want in their lives? Excelling in physics, arithmetic and playing the violin are exceptional talents, but these girls don't need to be pressured into being the perfect child. Their lives would be abbreviated to even enjoy them at the end of time.
