"I wish I could have seen you punching Doctor Animo's stupid face, Grandpa," Ben said while hugging his lost relative, "but I was too busy breaking his drill and freeing the Null Void, you know."
"It was really funny," Grandpa Max said, wearing his usual warm smile. "He's so tall and buff, you would think he could have held his own in a bare handed fist fight with me, but no. Total instant knockout."
"He's such a weak ass loser," Ben laughed.
Then they laughed together. Then everyone else laughed.
Soon, they were all gathered around Doctor Animo's prison cell. Inside the cell, Doctor Animo looked very undignified and angry.
"I hate you all," he said while pouting as hard as he could.
"Hey, you owe me one. I could have made a bunch of jokes about D'Voiding your bowels, but I didn't," Ben told him.
This comment caused Doctor Animo to once again adopt a fetal position and leak profound tears. Because that is what can be heavily interpreted as him doing outside of canon. All day long. He cries with severely exaggerated emotional pain.
"I'm so empty inside," he cried softly.
Everyone laughed again at his expense.
"Hey, let's go start a Japanese rock band," Ben suggested.
So they did. It makes sense. Don't question it.
Meanwhile, Doctor Animo cried for hours and hours, right until he tired himself out and literally cried himself to sleep. He woke to see a Null Guardian sniffing around his cell.
"If only I still had control over you, I could use you to free myself of this torment," he said while staring at the Null Guardian through blurry tear-filled eyes. "Maybe I can muster the will to tame a powerful beast one last time." He tried using his powers to control the creature. It turned around and bit him. "Aaaaaaaaaaugh! FUCK! THAT HURT!"
The Null Guardian screamed in return.
"Oh...my mistake. You were simply frightened? Well, I suppose that's okay," Doctor Animo said while trying to cover up the bloody wound on his shoulder. He reached out and pet his new friend. "Help me out of here, won't you? I promise to love you forever and ever."
The Null Guardian shed a tear via unknown means. It had never experienced love before. It screeched and grabbed Doctor Animo in its tentacles, lifting him up. It flew out of the prison. It headed for a stretch of red, rocky platforms, where it set Doctor Animo down.
"Yes, my pet! Now I'll have my revenge on the Tennysons and everyone in the Null Void!" said Doctor Animo.
The Null Guardian knocked him down and mounted him.
