Watch Your Back
Shanks.Was.So.Dead. These were the words that ran through Ace's head while we walked over to the bar. Shanks had talked Luffy into bringing a DOG home! Of coarse the whole situation ended fine, but it still had gave Ace a headache. He had enough of Shanks's stories! They only inspired Luffy to do something stupid (or cute) and give Ace just a headache. But the was the last time! He slammed open the door of the bar and walked over to Shanks. Ace managed to talk Luffy into staying home today. Shanks stopped laughing and looked down at Ace, who was looking up at Shanks.
"What's wrong, Ace?"
"Don't talk! Just…listen for once!" Ace said frustrated. Shanks immediately shut up. "Every time you open your mouth around Luffy, you persuade him into doing something stupid and that gives me a headache! So if you persuade Luffy into doing one more stupid thing, I'll be back!" Ace walked out of the bar and walked home. After Ace disappeared around the corner, Shanks began to party again.
Ace was remembering that event that happened three days ago. And in those three days, Shanks talked Luffy into doing something stupid AGAIN!
That.Was.IT!
He had to do something about Shanks. So once again Ace walked into the bar. He walked up to Shanks and looked up at him.
"I told you not to persuade Luffy again! I warned you!" Ace yelled. Shanks stopped laughing again.
"Just calm down, Ace. Luffy's just a kid! He doesn't me-"
"I know he's a kid! I'm his older brother! And because of you, I'm getting headaches! And I hate headaches!" Ace yelled in Shanks face. Ace walked to the door and before walking out of the bar, he turned his head toward Shanks and gave him a mean glare.
"YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR BACK…" Then Ace walked out of the bar and back home. Shanks swallowed hard. Then Lucky Roux slapped him on the back laughing.
"Hahaha! Cheer up captain! The kid was only joking!" But Shanks didn't laugh. He knew Ace was serious. He stood up and walked to the door.
"I'm gonna turn in early today, mates. Keep up the party!" He said. He walked to his ship and climbed up the ladder. He walked to his room and went to sleep.
The next morning Shanks and his crew went back to the bar. He got a good sleep last night. That put him in a good mood today! They all sat down and ordered, of coarse, their rum. Makino brought it out. They each poured a big glass of the drink into their cups and drank it in one gulp. But as soon as they took a swig, they all started gagging. Shanks looked at the rum. It looked like rum. He smelled it. It smelled like rum. But the smell was odd. It smelled like rum and grape juice mixed…Wait…It WAS rum and grape juice! Those two mixed could make someone sick! Oh the horror! Pirates drinking grape juice?! That's not right! Who in the world could do such a…Then it hit Shanks.
'Ace!'
Everyone started gagging and choking while Ace stood outside laughing his ass off.
Just then Luffy walked into the bar only to see everyone gagging and choking. Luffy took a sip of Shanks drink and smiled.
"Hey! This stuff is pretty good!" Everyone looked at Luffy who drank two more BIG cups. Luffy then began hiccupping and wobbled all over the bar. Luffy said his goodbyes and ran out of the bar screaming something about how hungry he was. Then Shanks remembered that the drink had rum in it.
'Oh shit…Ace is NOT gonna be happy AT ALL!!'
Luffy had reached home drunk and Ace tried to help him into bed, but Luffy was making it VERY hard and this gave Ace ANOTHER headache! Ace left the now snoring Luffy in his room and closed the door behind him. He clenched his hands into fists.
'SHANKS.IS.SOOOOOO.DEAD.'
