AN: When Charles and Madeleine were playing the game and Francis and Mary were commenting on it, it made me wonder if Catherine and Henry played the game as well.
"Henry…Henry…"
Catherine was calling him, but everyone else was too! It was such a stupid game, hearing the voice of his true love, BAH! Henry turned in his blindfolded state trying to hear Catherine. How the bloody Hell was he supposed to know her voice if he'd only met her twice before? Both times when they were children! His voice had changed, no doubt hers had too.
"I'm here, Henry. To your right and walk forward."
He did as he was bid, tripping as his foot caught, sending him into Catherine. He heard a feminine shriek and a whole lot of giggles. He groaned at hitting the ground, bracing himself with his hands to try and not crush her.
"Well, you found me."
Small hands came up and pulled off his blindfold. He was looking straight down into her hazel eyes, her curls forming a copper halo as she lay in the grass. She gave him a smile and brushed off his shoulders. Henry scrambled off of her and awkwardly scratched his head before helping Catherine up. She dusted herself off then clasped her hands together.
"Well, I think we've won that game. What's next, Prince Henry?"
AN: I hope you liked it!
