You Will Never Be- (Steroline One-Shot)

Caroline stared outside her bedroom window watching the cars pass by. Touching her lips she felt the kiss being repeated over and over again. His lips were so soft against hers, not like any kiss she ever felt before. The kiss came by surprise but no matter how much she enjoyed it, she knew she couldn't betray her best friend Elena.

Moving away from the window she gasp finding Stefan standing right in front of her. Her light blue orbs made connection with his. Fear rushed through her system, not knowing what was going to occur.

"Stefan, what are you doing here?"

"I want to talk to you about last night."

"There's nothing to talk about…now will you excuse me I have to meet up with Matt." Caroline took one step before Stefan block her from going any further. "Stefan…"

"Caroline please."

"Stefan no, I just want to forget of what happen last night and you should too now will you please let mr go."

"I can't…"

"St-" Stefan interrupted Caroline before she could finish.

"Caroline don't you get it I…I love you." He hesitated.

"What? Stefan I think you're drunk or something, the person you love is Elena not me."

"No…I love you."

Caroline couldn't believe what she was hearing. Stefan couldn't be in love with her mostly because its her best friend boyfriend.

She found herself looking at Stefan's deep green orbs. The expression on his face dint seem like he was lying. Her mouth went dry her words were stuck in the bottom of her throat.

"You're crazy." Caroline finally spoke up.

"Don't ignore this like it's nothing Caroline."

"I'm not ignoring anything." She sighed. "Stefan you love Elena and I love Matt…we, us it can never happen it's better if we just stayed friends, sorry Stefan." Caroline made her way around Stefan. "Deep down you know I'm right." She said before she left her room leaving Stefan by himself. He could her hills hit the wooden floor leading to the front door, hearing the door slam as it closed.

Stefan lick his lips while he thought to himself that letting Caroline go wasn't an option anymore, he couldn't stand a minute away from her. At that moment he knew what he had to do nothing and nobody was going to stop him.
