CROSSOVER CHALLENGE
After Unit 01 is absorbed by Leliel, Shinji meets his mother Yui and he learns a shocking truth. He is not the son of Gendo, but rather a man called Yuuya Bridges and that his mother's real name is Yui Takamura. Even more shockingly, his mother came from a different world. When on a BETA patrol, Yui is struck by a bright light and knocked unconscious. Upon waking up, she discovers that she is in an alternate earth during the event of a phenomenon called Second Impact. Shortly after, Yui discovers that she is pregnant with the child of Yuuya. Disguising herself, she gains a new identity as Yui Ikari. She names her son Shinji before letting herself get absorbed by Unit-01. When Shinji learns the truth, he begs Leliel to send them back to Yui's dimension. Will Shinji be able to survive in his mother's world?

This takes place in the Total Eclipse timeline and the (.0/you can (not)) timeline.
Shinji is a little less of a wuss.
Yui destroys her TSF so that no one in the NGEverse will discover its secrets.
