Many years ago there was an army, the best army the world had seen. The army of Athena and Artemis. It was the best of the best. The best Archers, Spearmen, Swordmen, Trackers and hunters, they were unstoppable, unbeatable infact. It was a standard battle, a battle that should have been easy. It was only a small town, Amphipilous, the once favoured villiage of Athena. However, It was not meant to be. The goddess Athena strayed, comfort found in a mortals arms. She was caught, caught by her own brother no less, Ares, the God of war. She begged and pleaded to him to keep it a secret from her beloved but Ares, jealous by his sisters success, did not listen. He went to Artemis and smiled as he watched her heart shatter into a million pieces.
The army was divided. Followers of Athena and Artemis battled amongst each other. Tearing the army apart from the inside. The battlefield was covered in blood as dedicated followers fought for honour, fought for their God.
Years had passed and the battle had finially finished. Only the two Goddesses remained. Both exhausted after years of war.

"I HATE YOU" Artemis screamed releasing another arrow from her bow before collapsing to her knees. Athena dodged wearily,
she saw her chance. Artemis was done. She released a thunderbolt which hit the younger Goddess with force sending her hurtling backwards. She landed with force. Athena wasted no time, she ran with the last of her energy to her foe. Standing above her with a bolt ready she raised her hand. Artemis did nothing, she looked at Athena accepting her fate. Those eyes,
in those eyes Athena saw it. Hurt. She saw the hurt in her eyes and it pained her soul. This woman loved her and she had thrown it away.

"I'm sorry" She cried slumping down on Artemis "I'm so so sorry" She broke into a sob, unable to to contain her emotions.
Artemis joined her. The two lay, letting out years of repression. Relucantly she put her arms around her, oh how she had missed that feeling and it felt so good. The pair looked at each other and for that moment they saw how it used to be, the love they had, the life they had. Lips crashed onto one another as if to search for those moments.

They had found each other again.
