The red spider lilies

Are the color of fire.

Dare not touch them

The consequences are dire.

Fire and flowers can never mix.
And what of the fire-flowers?
They poison the others,of course.Cease trying.

Marluxia seems to enter a reverie of sorts whenever he thinks of 'his' beloved.
He always seems..at peace then.

But,alas,his beloved will never be his beloved.
Axel will always have Roxas,even though Roxas is no longer here.

If only I could-
No.Don't let yourself indulge in such vain wishes.


"Marluxia..."he sing-songs.
The red spider lily.It reminds him so much of 'his' Axel.The stems are that lovely emerald shade of green,and the petals a firey red.

And another thing.

Since they were so pretty,I picked them and made a large bouquet.But when I returned home,my grandmother told me to wash my hands immediately because they were poisonous.

Marluxia also relates them to the human heart.He belives that they're beautiful,and poisonous simplyto protect themselves.He belives that they're afraid of pain.Afraid of being hurt.He sees Axel the same way now.Axel misses Roxas and hurting him in his 'heart' because he can't go after him.Xemnas won't allow it.

He lashes out at the rest of us now...

"Marluxia!"
"What?"He snaps.
"Well,geez,you didn't have to yell..."Axel replies,cleaning out his ear to emphasize his point.
"Hmph."
"So,what did you want?"

If I could just tell him...

"...I belive Sora needs his first set of World Cards .That will be all,Number Eight."
"Alright then."He smiles.Marluxia flinches.The smile is hollow,fake...nothing like it used to be.He only smiles for Roxas.Never for him.
"Axel."
"What now!"
"I'm so sorry."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"It's nothing."

They're such peculiar flowers-blooming in the autumn and pointing their leaves toward the winter sun.
In spring,while the other flowers bloom,they die alone.
