Wally and Dick were sitting at the same table at the same karaoke bar that Roy would always take them to. They knew that he'd be here tonight, and figured it as the perfect time to talk to him.
"I hope he listens." Dick mumbled when he spotted Roy. Roy must have seen them too, and began to walk toward their table.
"Why are you guys here tonight?" He asked.
"We came to ask you to come home." Dick said quietly. Roy gave them both a sympathetic look.
"I-I can't, I hope you understand why, just go home before your parents worry, okay." Roy said sadly turning away. None of them were going to take no for an answer.
"Well, what do we do?" Wally asked.
"We're at a karaoke bar, what do you think we do!" Dick shot back.
"What are you talking about?" Wally snapped.
"We're gonna sing!"
Roy had just begun to make his way to the door when he heard a familiar tune, soon followed by a familiar voice.
"We asked him to stay, but he wouldn't listen…" Dick began.
"He left before I had the chance to say…" Wally added.
"The words that would mend, the things that were broken.."
"But now its kind of late, he's gone away…"
"Every night I cry myself to sleep thinking why does this happen to me,"
"Why does every moment have to be so hard...?"
"Hard to believe that its not over tonight, just give us one more chance to make things right, I mean I made it through the night but I wont go home thought you.." The duo sang together.
"The scent of his car…I'll never get over…" Wally took the next line as a solo.
"The words that he said keep me awake…" Dick closed his eyes.
"The weight of thing that had to be spoken…"
"Built up so much its crushed us everyday…"
"Every night I cry myself to sleep thinking why does this happen to me…"
"Why does every moment have to be so hard...?"
Both took this verse again, "Hard to believe that its not over tonight, just give us one more chance to make things right, I mean I made it through the night but I wont go home thought you."
"Everything I felt but never really showed." Dick went solo again.
"Perhaps the worst is done; we'll never let you go!" Wally was sure to sing this line so Roy could hear it clearly
" Its not over tonight, just give us one more chance to make things right, I mean I made it through the night but I wont go home thought you." The two took the last verse together again, then finished their song, and watched as a million different emotions filled Roy's eyes, followed by the clapping of many people at the karaoke bar, including Roy, who walked to the boys, who were quick to talk.
"We're not leaving until you come too!" Dick protested.
"Look, I can't go back with you guys, I caused enough trouble, but we can talk more about this later, maybe we can go out to lunch or something." Roy said, and then he turned and left leaving to Dick and Wally to decide for themselves if their plan really worked at all.
Ok guys, so I was listening to that with my bro and realized how well that would go with this idea I had. Anyhow, this can be a one or two shot, maybe even more then that, you decide. THANKS FOR READING!
