thier first kiss

Oliver's P.O.V.

I just entered the beach area near Rico's when I heard laughing and splashing.(duh, it's a beach!) I turned my head toward the sound and shielded my eyes from the sun that was just beginning to set. There she was, as beautiful as she could be in her bathing suit. She was in the water having fun with her other best friend. They had just catched a big wave on their surfboards.

"They're having fun, I'd say that." Jackson said leaning on the side of Rico's shack.

"Yeah." was all I could say. He knew I loved her, but he just left me alone. Appearantly, he was leaning too hard on the side of the shack because it came crashing down.

A little laugh escaped from my mouth. He looked around to see if Rico was near by, but luckily he wasn't. He said this as an excuse, "I just remembered, I gotta help my Dad do something at home, bye!" and then ran off.

I just laughed. Then I looked out into the water and they were coming up the beach. So, I decided to go and meet them halfway.

Then her other best friend looked up. "I gotta go change and go home, C-Ya tomoorow!" She said like she didn't see me before they came up.

"C-Ya!" said the girl of my dreams. "Hi Oliver. You just missed a couple big waves out there."

She sat down on her towel, so I spread my towel out next to hers and sat on it.

"Um, I kinda have a confession to make." I said, nervous. We watched the sun set over the ocean for a few minutes.

Then she said, "I was thinking along the same lines."

"What?" I asked turning to face her.

"I have a confession to make too." the girl I loved so much replied. "But you go first."

"O.k.," I said, even more nervous. but I decided to lean in for a kiss instead.

After we broke away, she looked at me with a puzzled look in her eyes that said, 'what was that for?' and 'Oliver, what are you doing?' But she just shook it off.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked, hoping she would say 'yes'.

"I would love to, Ollie." She said. Then we kissed a couple more times. We watched the sun set until it was dark.

"It's just like the song, 'If We Were a Movie'." she said.

"Yeah." was all I could say. The girl who I loved ever since I meet her, she was finally my girlfriend. I couldn't believe it. I walked her to her house since it was getting late.

"I love you, Miles." I said.

I love you too, Ollie." Miley said. Then we kissed goodnight.
