V-day Blues
Paring: Nick/Xander
Rating: PG-13 (Just to be safe.lol)
Summary: Nick has always hated Valentine's Day. But can a certain green ranger change that.
Nick sighed to himself as he closed down shop. It wasn't that he hated Valentines Day he just hated spending it alone. The last time he had spent Valentines Day with someone he had been 16 and that relationship had only lasted two weeks after.
'It's not like I hate the others for having someone but well….' Nick though as he locked the door to the Rock Porium. 'It's just not fair. I guess I am a little jealous.' Nick thought as he walked down a path to the beach.
'I mean Madison has Ben, Chip and Vida are together and Xander probably has a date with some hot girl.' The last thought left a bitter taste in his mouth.
Nick had known he was gay for a while now. When he had first meet the rest of his friends he had felt an attraction to the aussie the minute he had saw him. It had started as a little crush on a hot guy. With the gorgeous looks, hot tan and that accent. But as he got to know him it had grown form that. Nick loved everything about him. From his vanity to how loyal he was to the point he would die for the people he cared about.
Nick smiled at how green the trees were. Nick never really though of it before but there powers really fit them.
Lighting was fast and bright, Chip could talk a mile a minute and the room really came to life when he was in it.
Wind was gently one minute and the fierce and destructive the next, Vida could be sweet and gently but hurt any people she cared about and you were as good as dead.
Water was much like Wind in that they are both gently and beautiful but could be just as fierce. Much like Madison she was very beautiful and gently but if she though someone she cared about was in trouble she could be as killer as her sister.
And then there was Nature and Earth probably the most fitting match. Nature was beautiful, caring and loyal. Earth was fierce, destructive. Xander was all these things and so much more.
Nick was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't see the person coming his way until he ran right in to them.
"Oh I am sorr..Xander?" Nick said as he looked down at the green ranger on the ground.
" What are you doing out here? Though you would be on a hot date" the red ranger asked as he helped Xander off the ground.
" Walking and watching the sunset. Naw, Don't really like any of the girls. Besides there is someone I like already. But I don't think they like me back." Xander said while looking out over the water. The fading light casting a red-ish orange glow on his already tanned skin.
Nick was finding it harder to resist kissing those soft pink lips. Nick's heart leapt with hope when he heard that Xander liked someone else.
Nick knew he was taking a risk doing what he was about to but he just had too try.
"Xander look at me." Nick said as he hooked his figure under Xander's chin. When Xander looked back at Nicks blue eyes he lend forward and captured the red rangers lips in a kiss.
Nick was shocked at first but stared to kiss back. When they pulled apart Nick remembered what Xander had said before.
" But what about that person you like?" Nick asked really not want to know. Xander laughed as he looked into Nicks blue eyes before he answered.
" You are silly. You are the person I like. I am bi you know." Xander said matter-of-factly.
Nick smiled as he looked in to Xanders big brown eyes. 'Maybe Valentine's Day wouldn't be so bad form now on.' Nick though as he held Xander close to him and watched the sunset.
Well there you go. There's not enough Mystic love around here so I thought I would help. Please R&R
