"Raven! How are you my friend?" Starfire cried out.
Raven sighed, broken out of her concentration from meditating.
"Hey Star. What's up?" Raven asked, obviously bored.
"I was just remembering the time when Beast boy hung up that mistletoe, was it?" Starfire said happily, wearing her usual smile.
Raven blushed, also remembering the memory with ease. She had kissed Starfire very deeply, and, to her amusement, had weirded out the guys.
"Yes…. I remember." She answered calmly, the pink in her face standing out against her pale skin.
"Why were the boys, as you say, freaking out?" Starfire asked, genuinely confused.
"Well…" Raven didn't know what to say. She was very relieved when the Titans tower alarm rang.
When they got to the living room/ head quarters, they saw Robin, Cyborg and Beast boy waiting.
"Good. You're here. It's Slade, he's back." Robin said breathlessly.
The two nodded and said. "Let's go."
When they got to the warehouse where Slade was, they immediately started fighting, as usual.
At one point, Raven had been knocked out by Slade and hurt pretty bad.
When Starfire saw this, she started to kick the crap out of Slade in a few minutes.
"Interesting, as soon as Raven was hurt, you jumped in. Any reason why?" Slade asked smugly.
Starfire blushed a deep red. "No. She is my dearest friend and I hate when bastards like you hurt her."
Even though you couldn't see it behind his mask, Slade was smiling to himself as the police arrived.
When they went back to Titans tower, raven was in the infirmary, Starfire by her side.
"Ugnhh… where am I?" Raven asked as she awoke. Starfire grasped her hand in hers.
"You were injured in the fight with Slade. You are in the infirmary." Starfire told her.
Raven nodded. "I'm so glad you weren't injured." Starfire said quietly, tears in her eyes.
Raven smiled. She used whatever strength she had to take Star's face in her hands and pull it gently to hers.
As their lips met, both of their faces turned a deep red. Not from embarrassment, but from raw, lovely passion.
As Raven broke the kiss, Starfire began to smile. "That was why I fought Slade, my love."
Raven smiled back and said." If you don't tell the guys about this, I'd really appreciate it."
Starfire said kindly. "Of course."
When Raven and Starfire kissed again, there was someone from the team who was watching them…
