For Sweet Tooth's!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
A little drabble written in response to a challenge elsewhere from Elys1996. Happy Valentine's Day! Oh, by the way, my son acutally did this for one of his girlfriends one Valentine's Day a while back. He said he found the pattern for it somewhere on the Internet. So, I've seen one - it can be done! One more thing? His girlfriend's tongue was the most interesting colour by the time she and he ate all of those Pixie Sticks! Lol! 2/14/2007
Hmmm! What to do, what to do! He needed a Valentine's Day treat for Amita, but she had sworn off chocolate. Terrible timing! However, inspiration came. He dashed off to buy the raw materials.
Returning to his office, he left the "Temporarily Unavailable" note on the door, went in and set to work. It took longer than he would have liked, but by the time Amita emerged from her last class, he was waiting for her in his office. Her card and his unique sculpture were on her desk as well as 14 perfect red roses in a lovely crystal base.
As Amita walked into the room, her eyes lit up when she saw the roses first. Her eyes continued across her desk and her mouth dropped open in disbelief. Catching sight of her beau in her peripheral vision, she turned to him. "How did you manage that? You made me a 3-D fractal sculpture that forms a perfect heart viewed from any angle!"
"Did you note what the building blocks for that sculpture are, Professor?" Charlie grinned.
She turned, looked again and burst into delighted laughter. "They're PIXIE STICKS!"
"Sweets for my sweet!"
