Kurt made his way through the bookshelves, glancing as quickly as possible through rows and rows of titles. He mumbled to himself as he went.
"seriously, no, no, where the hell is-"
He'd found it. He took a deep breath and prepared himself for this moment. Here is was , Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This was it, the end of the series, the end of his childhood. He pulled the book off the shelf and breathed it in. It smelt like magic. He skipped over to the register and proudly placed the book down.
"This book was amazing, i stayed up all night last night reading it."
a deep voice said as hands pulled the book away. Kurt looked up at the voice the hands belonged to and froze. Curls fell into gorgeous hazel eyes, the boy smiled widely as he scanned the book. "need a bag?" the boy's eyes looked up and met Kurt's. A flush rose on the boy's cheeks, which cause kurt to flush in return. "uh, s-s-sure, yeah" The boy put the book in the bag and took Kurt's credit card, allowing their fingers to just touch. Kurt's heart began to pound. He looked away, pretending to be distracted by something else, anything else. "-Kurt?" He looked back at the boy, "uh, yes?" the boy handed back the credit card, How had he known his name, kurt wondered. "I promise i'm no stalker, i read it off the card." the boy flushed again. "well thanks, uh-"
"Blaine, my name's Blaine." "Thanks Blaine," Kurt smiled and left the store. He walked to his SUV and got in. He sighed, letting his heart settle down before pulling the book out of the bag. the receipt stuck out of the top had been scribbled on. Kurt pulled the receipt from the book and read it.

How long was appropriate to wait to text him? would it be weird to do it immediately? Kurt fiddled with the paper. "Courage" something told him, so he pulled out his phone and began to type.
