Darkness fell. A sliver of moonlight streamed quietly through the window.
A pale boy with dark hair curled up on the window seat in his lonely apartment, staring with unseeing eyes at his village through the fine, whispering rain.
He was alone.
There was no one in the world except him.
"The sole survivor."
He scoffed. His body might have survived, but his life, his heart, his soul were all gone. Forever.
Or so he believed.
I can take a few tears now and then and just let them out

A pink haired girl lay among the tall grass on the riverbank.
Her thoughts were melancholy.
The sunlight filtered through the green stalks around her, brushing her face gently. She closed her eyes, admitting to herself that it felt nice. But she would have given up everything she had to have had that mere touch from someone else.
A tear trickled down her cheek.

He kept walking, trying to harden his breaking heart, to suppress the overwhelming wave of emotion coursing through him.
He was leaving.
Away from the temporary sanctuary that his team had given him.
He was going for revenge.
He was leaving all emotion behind.
He had found his heart.
The first time he lost it, it was because of that hated one.
Now, for the second time, he had thrown it away himself.
He didn't need it anymore.
