"Pretty much," Ed replied. "Hurt like a bitch, but you know what else does? Getting punched in the face with a steel fist, as my enemies have found out."
"So now you're on a quest to rape the laws of your world in order to get your little brother back his human body, whole and fully functional?"
"Yeah, that sounds about right."
Renya frowned. "You are damned crazy."
Ed frowned. "Oh yeah? Then what's your story? No one gets beastly looking automail like that for no reason, you know?"
There was an awkward pause in the conversation as Renya stared at the alchemist. Then, "Honestly, no one knows what the fuck is wrong with my arm. But I might be cursed or something and it turns my arm into a mindless killing force."
"How is that helpful in any way?"
"I can really fuck shit up."
"Duly noted. That's always fun. I guess we have more in common than I thought. It's not just badass prosthetics."
"Well, I'm gonna go yell at Weinberg, who looks just like his futuristic self and is just as wishy-washy. Good luck with that law raping thing."
"Yeah, thanks. Good luck with that curse thing."
"'Kay, bye."
