Wine
A glass of wine. Then another. And another.
Usually, she was a beer kind of girl. Except for when she wanted to forget something, and tonight, she wanted to forget more than anything.
If anyone asked, she'd tell them it was because her first day back had hit her a little hard. That she hated when there were kids involved, and dealing with it her first day back was a little much.
But she was really drinking because she wanted – no, she needed – to forget that look in Sam's eyes when he told her what the hard part had been.
