It was the first day of school. But for Nick it wasn't any ordinary school. It was Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. All of the stories his siblings tell him. Hogwarts supposed to be the best place ever. But so far, It was just a big building.
As Nick stepped into the building he bumped into a blonde haired boy.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't looking were I was going. I'm Jeff by the way." The boy said while he stuck his hand out for Nick to shake.
"I'm Nick.'' He said as he shook Jeff's hand.
"I can show you the way to the great hall." Jeff said smiling.
"Please."
Jeff grabbed Nick's hand and took him to the hall. Nick gaped. This was the biggest hall he had ever seen. Like ever. He let go of Jeff's hand and ran up to touch the legendary tables. He looked back up at Jeff to see his smiling face.
"FIRST YEARS come to the front of the great hall." Headmistress McGonagall said.
Nick and Jeff ran up to the front eager to get sorted. As she called a bunch of names Nick didn't recognize he finally heard a name he recognized.
"JEFF STERLING."
Jeff walked up to the sorting hat. His hands were shaking. Jeff sat down at the stool as headmistress placed the hat on his head.
"RAVENCLAW."
Jeff ran of the stool to the table were lots of 2nd years cheered for him. As Nick patiently waited for his name to be called he finally heard it.
"HUFFLEPUFF"
Nick ran to the Hufflepuff table and sat down next to a girl with lots of multi colored streaks in her hair.
"I'm Tina, and before you ask I'm a Metamorphmagus that's why I have the streaks." She said proudly.
"I'm Nick." He said extending his hand.
She shook softly but firmly.
"This is my friend Artie." She said pointing to a small boy in a wheelchair.
"Hi" He said with a wave.
So great, I have new friends and I go to a great school. But what about that Jeff kid. I just cant get him out of my head. There's just something about him. He is just so intriguing.
