Okay, listen up. I am only going to explain this once. And don't interrupt me. I hate to be interrupted. The last person who interrupted me could tell you that, if he weren't a flea right now.
I, Q, am irritating because, I enjoy annoying you! That's right! No other reason. Like I could have another reason. You humans are so below my level the only fun I can have with you is when I irritate you.
Do you really think Picard would readily have consented to a trial of the whole human race? Nooooooo. Mr. Diplomatic would have refused under section blaa blaa blaa of the blaa blaa blaa. Look at all the fun we would have missed out on if I hadn't just done it! Okay, maybe it wasn't so much fun for Picard, but you people at home enjoyed the episode. Admit it, you did.
Besides you like hating me. If I were suddenly to become nice and docile you people would not be nearly so interested in me. You would lose a very interesting character to write about, if I do say so myself!
