The clock struck 24:00
On this golden moonlit night
The Guests began to file out
Humans, Witches and Demons quite a sight
A group of men with heads of goats
Began to play such an uncanny symphony
Yet the guests began to dance
Despite the offbeat harmony
The Servant and the Lady
The Man and his maid
And the little witch and her lion
All danced unfazed and unafraid
The Finite Witch and the demon of Gaps
Put on quite an amusing show
The black cat danced with the Absolute Witch
The rabbits waited to sew
Seven sisters stood alert
The sisters named from sin
The demon ranked 27
Would stand bearing a grin
Grand Doors had opened
And all had stopped to praise
The Endless Witch and her mate
Who entered through upon their gaze
Remaining on their small balcony
The pair danced, spun and twirled
The rabbits released the golden thread
Around the room it weaved and swirled
Around the two it went
Constricted by golden light
This moment would not have been ruined
If such a commotion did not ignite
The seven sisters named from sin
Struck down the maid and the servant
Their partners fell to their knees
Pierced by the golden serpent
The tempo increased and the room glowed red
Flames licked up against the walls
Demons emerged through cracks and holes
The music drowned from their hellish calls
All of this had not phased
The pair who danced by the door
As time went by the demons appeared
By more and more and more
Humans gasped, cried and screamed
As demons removed their heads
The humans fell one by one
Onto the sea of red
Even as the room was red
Ruby liquid spread about
The magical beings continued to dance
Not caring for the agonized shouts
It was quite a shame the scene at play
The unfortunate end of peace
The demons settled down and the music had stopped
Even the dancing began to cease
The pair who stood at the balcony looked
The faces of slain humans terrified
This Ballroom of Hell stained with red
So why had they looked so satisfied?
Applause rang through the hall
Both obliged to take a bow and bend
Gold butterflies littered the room
To show that the clock had signaled its end
All had fallen silent
24:00 and 2:00 the needle lay in-between
With intertwined hands the pair cried out
"HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!"
