A/N: This is the result of Ls11 and I discussing how Pepper and Tony are very different from Jane and Thor

What's Right for One...

"Enjoying the view?" Pepper questions with a smirk, tugging at the zipper on her dress.

Tony smirks in response moving away from the dresser where he stands selecting a watch for the night. His tie hangs undone around his neck still waiting for Pepper's delicate hand to do it for him.

Pepper watches him in the glass pane window of their bedroom, currently acting as full-length mirror while blocking them from any prying eyes, from the city below, grinning triumphantly when she gets the zipper up.

Coming up behind her Tony settles his hands on her hips swaying her slightly against his body before spinning her around, his gaze sliding along her body as he openly checks her out. Grasping her hand in his while she's left to watch in confusion, he brings the back of her hand to his lips, pressing a kiss to her knuckles.

"Your beauty outshines a thousand stars."

Pepper's face puckers further in confusion. "Are you drunk?" she asks, leaning in without waiting for a response, smelling his breath.

"No!" He shouts, smirk falling in outrage, pulling back from her and shaking his head. "I'm being romantic!"

"What!?" Pepper shrikes, blinking in surprise like she can't even begin process the words coming out of his mouth.

"What kind of response is that!?" Tony demands, waving his hand at her.

"Who says that?!" Pepper cries, shaking her head in confusion.

"Thor says that kind of crap to Jane all the time."

Pepper can't help but chuckle slightly in response, shaking her head as she walks forward, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You're an idiot."

Tony's arms automatically wrap around at her waist, "You're really bad at this whole relationship thing." He teases as straight faced as he can.

"Since when are we anything like Jane and Thor?" Pepper challenges with a cocked eyebrow.

"We're not," Tony responds, crinkling his nose slightly. "But Jane melts at that crap."

"I don't think that's for us," Pepper shakes her head in amusement. In all honesty she finds the other couple corny at times but they've made it work, she could never imagine half the things she's heard Thor said come out of Tony's mouth. "You're more straightforward and besides," she purrs seductively, gently scrapping along the nape of his neck. "You're really good with your hands."

"Well," Tony can't help but grin cockily, slipping his hands from where they've settled at her waist to grab her butt, "actions speak louder than words."

"Tony," Pepper calls in warning, pushing against his shoulder when he moves his mouth, kissing at her neck, his goatee scraping along the delicate skin.

"I want you," he whispers roughly against her and Pepper can't help but smile, what he lacks in flowery words he makes up for with passion and blunt honesty.

"Later," she promises, effortlessly tying the tie once he steps back, pouting at her slightly. Smoothing the silk over his dress shirt Pepper smiles at his disjointed look, giving him a peck at the corner of his mouth, "You might even have to cut me out of the dress."

Tony's own hungry grin matches her twisted smile as she walks away, well aware of his burning stare. There are heated moments and tender words between them; a relationship built on a thirteen year old foundation. From his sultry gaze and rough hands along her body, to the way he begs, pressed against her, for a quickie in the broom closet at work. She doesn't need flowery words to know he loves her; it's in everything he does, spoken and unspoken.
