Struggle For Pleasure
By SMYGO4EVA
They were both the same; in attitude and personality, that is. In the majority of situations, whether they were underappreciated or in spotlight's pretentious aura, they seek nothing more than attention, good and bad. It is possible that seeing delight in the eyes of millions would fill the hole in their hearts from so many defeats in their lives. Then again, maybe not.
Fighter and Healer were tinted with bitterness towards the world, blackened with trouble trusting other people and allured by the stage's glory with record-breaking CD sales, double platinum and golden records combined. It came to pass that Fighter and Healer were in love with each other, but sadly, they couldn't utter it in fear of rejection. They knew of the injustices of the world emerging from their love. But they couldn't hide from them forever, and they knew that nothing was eternal.
If they succumb to their desires, they would only see the dark sides of love: obsession, lust, and twisted delight. They wanted to love each other, yet they didn't want to risk getting hurt. It was a battlefield of feeling/conscience, and it was a struggle for pleasure.
