Rydel POV
We arrived to the venue, got all set up and changed. While I was changing there was a knock on my dressing room. I finished putting on my necklaces and sprayed my signature perfume on my body before going to open the door.
"Hey Del! You look beautiful" Ellington said as I opened the door.
"Thanks so what's up?" I asked.
"I came to tell you sound check in ten minutes. Are you excited to sing our duet?"
"Yeah but I am a little nervous" I told Ellington blushing slightly.
"You sing Love Me Like that all the time at concerts. Why are you so nervous about it?" Ellington asks.
"I don't know" I said tucking a loose blonde strand of hair behind my ear. I wasn't about to tell him it why it was bugging me. he would freak out most likely.
"The R5 Family will love it" Ellington reassured me.
"I know!" I said brightly then it was finally time for sound check. We all walked down to the stage waiting for the R5 Family. They piled in and we all sat down on stage answering their questions. It was always fun to hear their questions. We finished the questions and I looked over at Ellington. He smiled reassuringly over at me.
"Okay guys change of plans instead of one song tonight. we are doing one more song. This is the first we're singing it" the crowd went crazy. Ellington and I started singing.
"All my friends, there different people, anxious just like an ocean in a storm coursing through our body until we're one" We sang together.
"Why mess up a good thing baby? It's a risk to even fall in love" Ellington sang.
"So you give me that look to me. I better look back carefully cause this is trouble." I said smiling looking over at Ellington.
"Yeah this is trouble. I said oh oh" Ellington sang.
"I said oh oh you got me in the mood mood" We sang together.
"But if my hearts going to break before the night has end" Ellington sang.
"I said ohh oh we're in danger of sleeping with a friend" Ellington sang. I echoed him.
"Sleeping with a friend" Ellington and I sung together.
"Uh yeah yeah" Ellington sang.
"All my friends stay up past midnight looking for the thing to fill the void. I don't go out much like I used too." We sung.
"Something about the strangers and the noise. And why leave when I got you baby? It's a risk but I need a thrill" Ellington sang to me.
"Ohh oh you got me in the mood, mood scared but if my hearts going to break before the night's going to end" Ellington sang.
"Before the night's going to end" I echoed.
"I said ohh oh we're in danger of sleeping with a friend" Ellington and I sang. He spun me in a circle. I smiled and spun him in a circle. The crowd went insane.
"Sleeping with a friend" we sung finishing the song. the crowd went wild with applause.
I smiled because I had just sung with my crush. It was a night I would never forget.
