TALES FROM A THREEHORN
CHAPTER 1.
My name is Cera Threehorn I'm 21 years old and if you think humans have it hard at my age we dinosaurs have it even better ( and I mean that sarcastically.) This morning I got up a normal day here in the city of The Great Valley. I pull on a black spaghetti strap tank top, blue jean shorts, white socks and white, blue and gray new balance sneakers not an easy task when you have three coat hangers growing out of your face. Fortunatlly I don't have work today my dad Mr. Threehorn has already gone to work he's a police officer if you didn't guess. Law enforcement actually is what a lot of threehorns pursue as a career path. I however aim to be a dinoarcheologist uncovering secrets of our ancestors' past. Just last year an ancient city was unearthed that our kind had once inhabited before an earthshake destroyed it knocking the piece of land it was on into the big water or the ocean as humans call it. The city was named Saurleke and it's in Greece. My older brother and sister left for home this weekend I had to babysit the twins again. The phone rings and I pick it up in my right forepaw. "Hello Threehorn residence who is this?" I ask. "Hey Cera you catch that episode of the Simpsons last night where Homer built the robot?" Chomper asked. "I'm sorry I was over at Best Buy awaiting the release of the Star Wars trilogy on DVD. As a member of the 501st I had to be there as much as I wanted to be there." I explained to Chomper. "So what's new with you Chomper?" I ask. " Nothing new except my dad ate a lawyer cowering in a bathroom from the hurricane down here." Chomper replied. Chomper and his parents live in Florida and stayed in there house and have faced not 1 but 3 hurricanes.
"I'm going to 6 Flags Great America today with Littlefoot and the others. Kyle has school so he can't come." I explained to Chomper. Kyle my boyfriend is a pretty okay guy considering he's a sharptooth that humans call allosaurus. You can bet my dad nearly had a heart attack when he found out I was dating a meat eater. My mother works as an archietect so she's gone for long periods of time.
"I'll talk to you later Chomper bye." I finished. I sit down at the computer and play Morrowind for a while until the door bell rings. "Hey guys you ready to go?" I asked. "You bet we are Cera!" Ducky replied. "Are we taking your Expedition?" Littlefoot asked. " Yeah seeing as how we won't fit in Petrie's Honda." I replied. I pull out of the drive way and head towards Great America. As we sit at a red light a sharptooth playfully chases an Explorer through the intersection although the humans still think we're going to eat them all or destroy Tokyo or prove the Butterfly Effect is true or chase the guys on one of those Reality shows off the island humans are an okay bunch considering they've only been around 3 million years and only 35,000 of those years has human civilization been around as opposed to the 75 million years Saurian technology has been around. Right know a human and saurian team of astronauts travels to and from various star systems in the galaxy as a routine thing. " Now remember guys when we get to Six Flags please don't scare the tourists." Littlefoot joked. We pull onto the highway and we're on our way.
