Blaine hated shopping with Kurt.
Ever since he announced to his boyfriend that he was transferring to McKinley, he had dealt with hours upon hours of shopping. Blaine was convinced there was no end in sight.
When Blaine was forced to try on low rider pants—with no belt—that hung around his thighs and a V-neck shirt, he finally had a say in the matter.
He stepped out of the dressing room and glared at Kurt. And if looks could kill, Kurt would surely no longer be with us anymore.
Kurt, oblivious to all, ignored the death glare and looked his boyfriend up and down from each possible angle before waving his hand dismissively. "No, no. This definitely isn't you."
Kurt threw up his hands in desperation, "Of course it isn't me, Kurt! When do I ever walk around listening to 50 Cent and saying to you, 'Oh, I wish I could look like a douche bag, just like him!'?"
Kurt sighed. "First of all, it's not douche bag, it's 'Fresh.' And second, did you or did you not do a rendition of Destiny's Child's 'Bills, Bills, Bills' in Warbler's practice one day, just for a warm up?"
Blaine rolled his eyes and stuttered out a shaky response, "That—that's not—you know that we only sang that song because Wes and David suggested it as a joke and I was the one who was forced to sing it!"
Kurt's laugh, though rather offensive, made Blaine's heart skip a beat. But instead of surrendering to Kurt, he just rolled his eyes and returned to the dressing room and tried on the last outfit: a pair of black skinny jeans and a cordial plaid shirt.
He looked in the mirror for a few moments, admiring the shirt's cozy feel and the jeans nice fit before he opened the door and walked over to his boyfriend.
"Wow," Kurt said as soon as Blaine stepped out of the dressing room. "No excuses. You're buying that."
Just because he could, Blaine said, "I look like Zac Effron," as he stared in the mirror with Kurt looking over his shoulder, straightening the shirt's collar and pulling down the hems.
Kurt didn't miss a beat as he said, "You look much better than Zeffron."
Blaine raised his eyebrows and said, just to tease Kurt, "I do, do I?"
Kurt nodded, his face growing redder and redder with each passing second. He knew that Blaine liked making him blush. He called it "cute." But Kurt thought it was anything but. They both already knew that Blaine was the more experienced, the one who enjoyed watching those movies.
But thankfully, they were still taking it slow and hadn't done anything. Nothing worth mentioning to Mercedes during their sleepovers anyway.
Blaine's looks right now, however, made Kurt want to stop doing nothing and start doing something.
But they were in a public place. A freaking store in the mall, for Christ's sake. So it would have to wait for later.
"Oh calm down, hott stuff," Kurt said, trying to act normal and composing his face into a normal look of annoyance. "Just change so we can go to the next store."
Blaine's eyebrows were raised during this entire conversation, and he felt that this outfit might work to his advantage in the future.
Just when he felt like teasing Kurt, though.
