Chapter 1

No One's P.O.V.

At Elementary High, a band was eating lunch. "What are going to do Core!" shouted the only female of the band, "Yeah, Corey. Our bassist can't play." said a thin boy with glasses, Don't worry Kin, all we have to do if find a replacement." answered a blue haired boy with a beanie, " Corey! The gig is tomorrow!, Without Laney it's the Newmans that will play not us!" replied the boy with a sort of bandana, "Don't Worry Kon, Grojband will never let the Newmans take their gig. If Lanes can't play, then will have to play without her, simple." Corey responds to his ,Kon & Laney look at him for a moment, until Laney said : "I think we should try to find a replacement." " Yeah, but...", Kin started," ...where will we find a other bassist" finished Kon. Corey was thinking, how will he find another bassist. His taught was broken by Laney saying "Yeah, Core. There's no miracle for that. Look just..." she couldn't finish her sentence because Corey made her notice someone with a guitar, not an electric one, an acoustic guitar. "Well here's our miracle Lanes." Corey said to Laney who was surprise," Now let's go ask her if she can play bass." "Corey I think you meant "him" and "he"." Kin said. "Yeah, Corey it's a guy" Kon added, " Well let's bet, losers give 1oo$ to the winners. I bet it's she." Laney said has she shook hands with Kin who said "Ok, Me and Kon bet on guy" "And I bet on girl" responded Corey "Now let's go!".

*To That Person Transition*

Grojband hurried to that... someone. When they arrived, the first they said was, all in sync, "What gender are you?!", "Uhh...well a girl" she responds. Corey and Laney were smiling while the twins were sighing. The girl was wearing a dark grey cap, a grey sweater, a dark blue shirt and some blue pants. She had black hair and eyes. "hum.. who are you guys?" she asked. "Were Grojband. I'm the frontman and guitarist, Corey, there's the twins, Kin And Kon, Kin is the keyboard player while Kon is our drummer." "And I'm Laney, the bassist and band manager, sadly I broke my hand yesterday" has Corey and Laney introduce the band. "Well, nice to meet you, I'm Jade, I can play almost every instrument, not perfectly though." has Jade introduce herself. The Band was impress by how she said she could play almost all instruments. "Jade who could..." "Call me J'" has J interrupts Corey "Well ok, so J, you could replace Laney tomorrow, we have gig and we need a bassist, we'll rehears today." "Yeah sure" has J agreed.

Laney's P.O.V.

We just met Jade, or has likes being called J, and she's going to come to rehearsal. So excited to meet another girl that might be accepted in the band. I wonder what she likes? Now got to head towards Core's garage, has we like to call it the groj, I said I was going to lead J there. has we were walking I asked some questions:

"Hey J, What do you hate?" "Why do you ask" she asked back, " Well I was thinking to know you better, so?" "Well...I hate dresses, make up, love movies and most girl stuff" I was quite surprise.

*In the Groj Transition*

We finally arrived at the groj, Core, Kin and Kon were waiting. "You're here! Ok J, Let's Here your talent!" Corey shouted, but J was already playing her guitar. The guys and I were amazed by the sound it sounded so good, not perfect, but still very good. "J play hum..." has Core looked around and pointing my bass "...Laney's bass, if you want to repl..." Core was interrupted by J playing my bass, it didn't sound like me playing, but it was good to hear. "hey J play my keyboard" has Kin challenges her. She did as he said and played his keyboard, "Play My Drums" Kon said, again she played his drums. "Wow, you're good, but can you play 2 instruments". J didn't react has fast, but somehow she managed to make it happen. "Core maybe she could join the band" I whispered to Core, my secret crush, "Good idea, Lanes" he whispered back then said "J, would you like to join our band?". J was thinking, we were all waiting for her answer. It took her a minute "Well, I don't have that much friends, so yeah.". We were all excited to have her in the band.
