What is life for? What is life worth when in the end it doesn't even matter when we die? Maybe it's the time that we spend in our life or what we do with it. Maybe it's the change that we make in others' lives that are the reason that we live? But in the end that sad truth is that we die in the end. So what is death for I ask you, maybe if you piece it together it will make sense. You cannot have life without death if you don't die then there is no real thrill or meaning to life. If there is no life than nothing matters and death is wasted.
Arcee looked to the stars for guidance. It was human like in a way she had noticed Jack maybe look to the stars when he was confused or was looking for answers. At the time she would have thought that it was foolish. The stars couldn't give you answers they were silent as the dead. But here she was now looking up to the stars for guidance for help. Arcee was lost her leader and friend had just died not long ago they had accepted a con into their ranks and now she felt lost. She no longer had someone to tell her what was right and words of wisdom when she needed them. Sure Ratchet was smart and all but that wasn't the wisdom that she was looking for, Arcee was looking for the words that Optimus spoke that could explain everything that could tell her how to face her fears or to help her through a rough spot in life. Now it was silent with only the stars to tell her what to do. "If you really can help then I ask it now. Where should I turn and what will face me next around the bin?" she asked looking to the skies
They were silent as always. First Tailgate then Cliffjumper and now Optimus next her whole team. Arcee whimpered a little and sighed letting her shoulders rest from being so tense. Arcee gave up there was nothing that was going to get her down even more than this. She looked to the ground and stared at her feet for a moment looking deeply into the metal plating she rested upon. Something twinkled not far off and she looked again to the skies there in the stars was a bright shiny one it all of a sudden sparkled like a gem in the sunlight.
A warm comforting feeling came off of it like she was no longer on the ground but nor in the skies but in between. Her spark lifted and she then felt the way she did around Optimus, that she was safe and that nothing would end badly. Arcee no longer saw the planet around her but only the stars and that one sparkling gem. Something echoed in her mind 'I will always care for you even if we are far, far away from each other.' The words echoed with each passing second. The voice that spoke them very familiar and yet vague like that of a dream but the voice was that of Optimus and a distant memory long ago it was one thing that she would never forget. Arcee all of a sudden felt the world return to her and everything fall into place as it should. She looked back to the star that faded back into the night and a voice spoke 'Never give up on yourself, once you do, there's no one left.' She smiled "Your right" she whispered
This was dedicated to both my grandfather and my friend who every time I feel if feel sad and give up Gibb slaps me in the back of the head and says "Never give up on yourself, once you do, there's no one left." And my grandfather who said that "I will always care for you even if we are far, far away from each other." I hope that it may help you… I think
