I came up with this idea, I don't know if it's any good but it's just a little something. I love watching Leela/Peri and this is my idea of what should happen after the party.
"Peri answer me, are you pregnant" Leela shouted for the second time. Peri was frozen in fear.
"No, she's not" Nico said. "I am"
Leela turned to face Nico shocked. She looked back at her daughter. Something was definitely not right with her daughter. Was Nico covering for her?
Leela looked at Peri, realizing that she needed to do this in private.
"Peri, come on" Leela said forcefully but kindly putting her hand on her daughter's shoulder and leading her home.
"I'll come back tomorrow to fix this" Leela said. "Everyone go home, the party is over"
Leela guided Peri out the Dog and they walked home in silence. As soon as they walked into the house, Peri went to run up the stairs.
"Peri, stop" Leela said and Peri froze. She was terrified.
"Peri, look at me" Leela said turning the girl around.
"I want a completely honest answer, are you pregnant?" Leela asked and Peri looked to the ground.
"Oh you silly girl" Leela said before pulling the girl into her arms.
"Mum, I'm so sorry. I really am, I didn't mean for it to happen" Peri said and Leela sighed.
"Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me you had sex?" Leela said and Peri looked down.
"Come on Peri, talk to me. I don't understand" Leela said her temper rising.
"This is why I didn't tell you" Peri said as she stormed up the stairs.
"Peri" Leela shouted but Peri continued to go up the stairs.
Leela sighed. She went into her room and got changed into her pajamas before going back to see Peri. She knocked on the door and then walked in.
"Peri" Leela said and Peri turned around to face the wall in her bed.
"Pez" Leela said as she lay down next to her daughter.
"Please talk to me" Leela said.
"Talk about what?" Peri said.
"You and this baby" Leela said as she placed a hand on Peri's stomach. Peri moved away.
"How far gone are you?" Leela asked.
"Ten weeks" Peri said and Leela sighed.
"Do you know what you want to do yet?" Leela asked and Peri shrugged.
"Do you want to talk about it just now?" Leela asked and Peri shook her head.
"I need to think about it" Peri said and Leela nodded.
"Of course, I think we all need to have a little think and then talk together" Leela said and Peri nodded.
"Why did you do it, Pez?" Leela asked.
"Do what?" Peri asked.
"Have sex?" Leela asked and Peri winced.
"Don't say that" Peri said.
"But you did" Leela said.
"But only once" Peri said.
"It only takes once" Leela said and Peri sighed.
"Didn't you think to use protection?" Leela asked and Peri shook her head.
"I'm sorry" Peri said and Leela sighed.
"Didn't you feel you could talk to me?" Leela asked and Peri shook her head.
"It's not the easiest thing to talk about is it? I know you would be mad" Peri said.
"Peri, I might have been mad at first but then I would understand. I don't want you to be scared of me Pez" Leela said.
"I'm sorry, mum" Peri said before starting to cry. Leela pulled her daughter into her arms. She felt horrible, she remembered what it felt like when she realised that she was pregnant with Peri- the fear, the worry, the confusion.
"Peri, did her force you?" Leela asked and Peri shook her head.
"Of course not, we both wanted to do it. It was more me than Tom to be honest" Peri said.
"Why did you do it?" Leela asked.
"Em, it was just hard. So many things going on with you and Dad and then Mum and Dad" Peri said before realising how weird she sounded. It got her thinking about Sam and Danny.
"Peri, next time you get upset I hope you understand and know that I am here for you. You are my little girl" Leela said as she pulled Peri closer to her.
"How did you realise that you were pregnant?" Leela asked.
"I hadn't been feeling great and then I nearly fainted at school. Dylan and Nico were with me and made me go to the hospital. I thought my brain tumour was back but then Celine told me that I was pregnant" Peri said and Leela sighed.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you" Leela said.
"How could you be there for me, I didn't tell you" Peri said.
"I should have noticed. I'm meant to be your mum" Leela said.
"You are my mum and I know, but I couldn't tell anyone" Peri said. "I just couldn't"
"Did you not realise that things weren't right?" Leela asked nod Peri shrugged.
"Did you not realise that you had skipped your period?" Leela asked and Peri shrugged.
"Not really, they have been really mucked up since Mum and Dad so I just guessed it was that" Peri said and Leela nodded.
She couldn't believe what was going on. Her fifteen year old daughter was 10 weeks pregnant.
"How do you feel?" Leela asked and Peri looked into her Mum's eyes.
"Mum, I'm really scared" Peri said and Leela's heart wrenched.
"oh baby, I promise that we will get through this together. I want you to know that I am here for you. We will do all of this together, I will be with you all of the way I promise. No matter what you decide I promise that I will stay by your side and support you" Leela said.
"Thank you Mum" Peri said. "I'm glad I have told you"
"I'm glad you have told me too, I just wish you could tell me earlier" Leela said.
"I know I'm sorry" Peri said.
"Oh come on, let's forget about that and just look to the future now. It doesn't matter because I know now and that is all that matters" Leela said and Peri nodded before cuddling back up with her mum.
"I love you" Peri said and Leela smiled.
"I love you too baby" Leela said as they cuddled up together.
