My hair flowing behind me as sparks and fire burst into life; I ran away. An explosion throwing me forward thrusting me into a wall; everything blurred and went black I fell to the ground in pain my head throbbing, touching my head I felt a warm liquid but as I brought my hand back to the focus point of my eyes I could see that the liquid was blood panicking I looked around desperately. Maybe flailing about wasn't such a good idea my vision started to go fuzzy and I slumped to the ground I could hear voices and people shaking me a familiar face peered at me they were saying something but I didn't quite get it before everything went black and I could nit longer see or hear anything.

As the red head climbed out of bed and looked in the mirror she witnessed the horror of what today's hair would bring, today of all days the day when she would need to be perfect. Today the girl would be meeting her great great Grandma who never seemed to age but she was old very old or at least that's what her wrinkles said. Grabbing a brush she attacked her bush of hair, peering at herself in the mirror she could still see the remains of make-up from yesterday when she had gone out with some friends to a party. Once she had finished her confrontation with her hair she had a shower, once dry she picked up her outfit that she had chosen the night before, it was a pale green dress with gentle frills around the bottom. She picked up pumps and then grabbed her little bag and packed a lip balm a must have in her books, her phone charger in case her phone died it would be her only companion that was enjoyable on the hour long ride to her great great Grans. Lastly she picked up a charm bracelet that her great great Gran had given to her for her first birthday, she felt strangely attached to it like a bond in a way.
Walking down the stairs and in the kitchen she went over to the fridge and grabbed a yogurt and some fruit from the bowl after two unsuccessful attempts at getting an orange she settled for an apple. Sitting down to eat her yogurt and orange her mum walked in.
"Lisa darling I wish that you would eat more for breakfast, you know I don't like how little you eat." said Lisa's mum as she walked into the kitchen with an armful of washing
"Mum you know that I don't eat much especially in the mornings it makes me feel sick!" mumbled Lisa
"Fine then but can you at least take a apple or orange with you so that if you do get hungry you will have something too eat, we'll be leaving in 10 minutes make sure that you have everything that you need, also can you see if you sisters got everything because you know what she's like she likes to take everything with her just in case she might need it." replied her mum
"Fine, fine I will go see her right now" moaned Lisa
Lisa found that her mum could be really knaggy if you didn't do the things she wanted you to do, Lisa went upstairs glanced into her sisters room seeing that's she was busy finding new places to hide things she kept on walking till she got to her room at the end of the hall. Walking into her room she picked a few things up and then turned all the lights out by the time she got downstairs it would be time to leave.

Lisa's POV:
Once we got to my great great grandma's house we parked the car outside the door and got out the car, I would have to prepare myself for this the last time I had met my great great grandma she almost suffocated me in one of her famous 'love hugs' they consist mostly of squeezing someone to near death. Calm prepare yourself it won't be that bad you were small then, walking towards the house I almost tripped over three stones that seemed to pop up out nowhere in particular. Knocking on the door I took a step back waiting for my grandma to open the door, suddenly the door swung open to reveal a woman who didn't look at all different from the last time I saw her wearing neon green and pink and so much light coming from inside the house you would think that she had a second sun in there.
"Welcome darlings its sooooooo good to see you again I haven't seen you for years come in come in we can do hugs once you're inside" my grandma said showing us into her house
When I walked into the house I never expected to see what I did, to say that it was a shock was an understatement. We all stood there like stone statues I'm not sure our lives would ever be the same again.
