Klaes: Facts and Biography
Name: Klaes Lunariel
Age: 28
Hair: Silver
Eyes: Deep gray
Height: 1.56m
Biography: Abandoned at the gates of Feylith, an elvish settlement just North-east of the great trade city of Lolkar. Adopted by a childless moon-elf couple, Raphael and Jibrille Lunariel. Joined 5 years later by a sister, Amethyst. With his slightly broader frame and greater height, and her pale peach-skin and amethyst eyes, the siblings were treated as cursed and blighted. Klaes received the brunt of the town-folks insults and taunts. However, they never dared attack them openly due to Klaes quickly becoming skilled with a blade at a young age, quickly surpassing his own father, a master in his own right, at his art at the tender age of 17. A series of events caused Klaes' expulsion from the town in his 22nd year, as well as the deaths of his family.
Unable to forgive himself, he quickly found work as a gladiator before catching the notice of Hadrian Blackmoore, heir of a huge inheritance as well as budding mercenary commander. Quickly befriending Klaes, he offered Klaes a place in his company, Hadrian's Companions, where Klaes was gained the respect and admiration of the whole company with his mastery of his greatsword. He served in the Companions for five years, quickly becoming feared among all the other mercenaries as the Widowmaker, for where he and his blade went, widows were sure to follow.
In his 26th year, he decided that this life of violence no longer suited him. Bidding farewell to the company, he joined the temple of Corellon Larethian in Lolkar, becoming a scholar there.
However, wanderlust overcame him in about a years time and, with his blade and steed by him, he began wandering the lands once more, even saving the Companion's once, thus repaying the dept that he considered he owed Hadrian for 'saving' him from the savagery of being a gladiator.
A chain of events, beginning with the death of his faithful stallion, Moonswift, led him to the city of Tripeak, where a chance meeting with three fellow wanderers, quickly turned into the beginning of a group whose deeds would be sung throughout the ages…
