"Yesterday was a million years ago
In all my past lives I played an asshole"
In a lonely valley, lies a house home to an old wizard. The dirt road has vanished amongst the wild grass. The windows of his house have been shattered. The roof, full of holes, leaves little shelter for the man inside.
This man shows no fear in his face. He remains in a beaten chair when wind and rain tackle his house. Yes, the weather pierces his skin. No, he can't feel it. For all this man can feel is pain. And all he knows is regret.
He once had a name. He was once apart of something, something he didn't want to be a part of. He had no choice. He surrendered his life for his following. He knew he could never be forgiven. He didn't want to be forgiven.
The mark on his arm remains as a daily reminder of the hate he put upon the world. The wizards he hurt, the muggles he killed. Yes this man was no longer human, he was no longer Malfoy.
Seventy years has passed since he last heard his name, fifty five years since he last spoke.
His sorrow so strong it weighed him down on his chair. Unable to move, he starved to death on that chair. His last happy memory, was knowing he was going to die.
A/N quote from "The Last Day on Earth" by Marilyn Manson. This song can be found on his mechanical animals cd.
