Sirzechs Lucifer, one of the four great devils, looked down at the prone woman before him as he considered his options. There were two choices that he had, both of them incredibly dangerous in terms of what their outcome could be. He could leave this strange soul be, letting it drift past and into the beyond...or he could commandeer it, resurrecting the soul in his service before sending it to perform his tasks. Both were extremely risky but his better judgment told him that losing this woman's services, no matter how much trouble she caused, would be a mistake. So with a heavy sigh, he extended his left hand and motioned to his queen.
"Bring it, Grafiya," he said firmly.
The stoic, gray haired maid nodded before steeping forward, placing a hand carved wooden box in Sirzechs's extended palm.
Grinning slightly at the sheer idea of what he was doing, Sirzechs chuckled slightly as he opened the wooden box, revealing a plush red velvet interior within which were nestled sixteen red-black chess pieces. Carefully, Sirzechs used his right hand to remove the king before closing the box and passing it back to Grafiya who accepted it with a silent nod.
Now with the piece in hand, he stepped forward to the side of the woman, pausing for a brief moment as he took in the full, white hair trimmed into a bob that reached the base of her neck while a separate lock of her white hair trailed down to her collar bones in front of her ears. He looked over her well structured face, the milky white skin and perhaps most interestingly to a man, her large bust. She was beautiful without a doubt, not as beautiful as Grafiya in his mind, but beautiful nevertheless. His observations finished, he carefully reached down and pressed the black king piece into her chest, at the top of her sternum, watching as it was absorbed into her body before he stood tall and spoke in his most commanding voice.
"Rise, and enjoy your new life as a devil!"

Brilliant sapphire eyes snapped open beneath Lucifer's gaze, the movement abrupt enough to surprise him before there was a sudden intake of air as the woman's chest suddenly rose with a deep breath.
"Welcome back to the realm of the living, so to speak," he said pleasantly as he stepped back a touch to give her room. The instant the last world left his mouth, her bright blues eyes were locked onto his face, filled with a startling intensity.
"Where am I?" The woman asked sharply, her hands briefly gripping the bed she lay on as she levered herself upright before turning her body to face him as she set her feet on the floor.
"You are in an estate under my control. Next question?" Sirzechs replied smoothly.
"Who are you...two?" She said, pausing midway through to glance at Grafiya before locking her eyes back on him.
"I," he said warmly, "Am Sirzechs Lucifer, one of the four Satans of hell. If you would, please introduce yourself."
Sirzechs could see the gears turning behind her eyes before she spoke a split second later. "I am Hymne Krieg, the Last Order. Why am I here?"
Sirzechs felt his eyes narrow slightly at the way she introduced herself, much less the oddness of her name. Still though he answered her question.
"You are here because I have reincarnated you as a devil to fulfill a task I have that needs doing."
"And what is your task?"
"I want you to protect my sister. For the duration of this task, you will serve in her peerage and protect her," Sirzechs replied.
There was a touch of hesitation in expression he noted, along with a narrowing of her eyes as she looked at him. "I do not serve. I have no superiors, I have allies, companions, and friends."
Sirzechs couldn't help but smile at that response and chuckle, despite the frown he knew was on Grafiya's face.
"That said," she continued, "I do believe in clearing my debts, and as such I will perform your task."
Sirzechs's smile grew a little wider before he spoke again, "Good. As I have reincarnated you as a devil, you will hold the rank of Duchess until you advance in our society through your own means, this estate and the lands surrounding it are yours to use and care for."
Hymne's eyes narrowed further before she nodded slightly and spoke again. "When will I begin your task, and how long will it last?" She asked in a solid, cold tone."
"Your task will begin in one month. Until then, you are to use the resources you can find within this estate to prepare yourself as a devil and to learn about the world you are now a part of. I will arrive her at the end of that month and send you to protect my sister. As for how long you will be with her...at least until she has someone within her normal peerage that can properly protect her."
Hymne's eyebrows tilted downward in a dangerous looking 'V' at the answer, obviously not pleased with what he said, but still she nodded and spoke.
"Very well, now leave so that I may begin my preparations," she said her tone leaving no doubt that it was a command she expected to be followed.
Sirzechs was certain Grafiya's frown had grown and sharpened at her tone, but she remained silent as he set the box of Evil Pieces he held in his left hand down on the bed with a smile before he and Grafiya disappeared in a flash of crimson light from a seal that had formed beneath their feet.
