Prologue
After "Sonic Heroes", a journey much to Shadow the Hedgehog's dismay, Shadow was still looking for answers to his unorganized dreams of his past that he can't put together. After being flung toward the Earth at high-speed, even the ultimate life form had to be in a state of suspended animation. As Shadow searched, he had no luck, until an anonymous tip led to the security confines on Prison Island, a place he'd been in the past.
