witness chapter 2
Jane started to worry she was saying things twice he had to do something to get her mind off of what happened… but what, He thought about it and he invited her over to his house. they had some tea and coffee, They also talked about what happened. But that defeated his whole purpose of letting her come over.
"Lisbon how about you stay here tonight I will light some candles you can sleep in my bed and I will take the couch I just want you to feel better" Jane said he finally started to think about what she must have been going through.
"Jane I can stay by myself I will be fine" She said but was still thinking about his offer.
"Lisbon just think about it I don't want you hurting yourself you got on alcohol once in the past we don't need it again" He said still not convinced that it was a good idea having her stay here.
"Jane you can come and take all of it out of my fridge" she said wanting an argument.
"but Lisbon no you just stay here it is more secure and safe here anyways I'm the guy known as the weirdo so no one will bother us here" He said trying to be amusing usually it works for him but Lisbon is just bothered by what happened. They sat in Jane's apartment then they heard a noise outside, someone was being robbed and it looked like the same man from the earlier crime Lisbon grabbed her gun and started running in that direction the man pulled out a knife to stab the women being robbed but Lisbon fired and shot him. He fell to the ground by the time she could call the police the women being robbed started to run Jane once again stared he couldn't believe she shot the man. After a few moments went by Lisbon caught the girl and the police were there, To add to Lisbon's bad day she had to answer more questions she felt a little bit better for saving someone's life so she still stayed with Jane and the rest of the night was quiet. She took the next day off of work just to have a quiet day she had a quiet day but she also started drinking it wasn't bad she didn't get drunk, But she still had to remind herself not to mess up again she could lose her job if she does it again Jane was at work and she wall still in his apartment. She called Jane to see what time he got off.
"Lisbon I'm getting off at about five so another hour I guess" he said.
"Has it been a slow day mine has oh and I went out bought some whisky started drinking a little bit nothing major I'm not drunk or anything so just don't worry about it" She said worried about what might happen when he gets home.
"Lisbon didn't I tell you specifically not to drink what if you get hooked again what will happen oh that's right you will lose your job you know Lisbon I don't lose my cool easily but you are starting to push it" he screamed. She couldn't believe he just screamed but she got over it.
