Katniss was entered into the Hunger Games for a third time. She starts on her platform waiting for the games to begin. It is very chilly and snowy out. There is water surrounding the platform but it is frozen. She runs to go get her weapon, the bow and arrow. The games have begun. She then sees Peeta but this time there are 24 people competing. Katniss then sees two little blonde girls looking ready to kill. Katniss started to run. She ran and ran and ran until she took shelter in a tree. The tree was a pine tree that had had green pines, it was not a comfortable rest. It was soon morning after a long night of fighting and in the end Katniss had heard 6 cannon booms go off. All of a sudden she heard footsteps behind her and saw that it was Peeta. She screamed and said "Oh, it's just you" as she ran up and hugged him.
They then saw four people that soon surrounded them. The two blonde girls Katniss had seen earlier hopped out of a tree and stabbed two people, Katniss and Peeta got the other two. They soon became friends. The ground started to shake as a volcano erupted bursting out lava and melting the snow. They ran from the lava as the red stuff was burning everywhere. They then heard four cannons going off. The lava was in the middle where the ice was, trees started falling, and they knew they had to get out of there... and fast. It then turned dark really fast. They heard screeches and wondered what was that noise. It was flesh eating bats. They then heard 8 cannon booms go off. That night they seen the pictures of the people who passed away in the sky. They were then getting hungry and decided to go out and hunt/look for food. Katniss shot four birds with her bow and arrow and they ate then later over a fire. Katniss had six people left.
The next morning came. They all were thirsty then headed toward a stream with fresh water in it. They drank the water and then they heard two people coming. The two people eventually teamed up with Katniss, the two blondes, and Peeta. The capitols then came into the dome and started shooting and trying to kill them. They then killed the capitols and hopped onto the helicopter which led them out of the dome. They were then happy that they made it out of the dome, all six people had survived. The remaining Capitols got very mad and tried to kill them. They then killed the rest of the Capitols and the districts all faded which made everyone free. Peeta and Katniss soon got married and no one had to worry about separation anymore with the Districts no longer in place.
