We always knew we were different
But we tried to make it work anyways
Even though I knew it in my heart
That eventually, you'd be gone
I can't bear the thought that she's gone
That she's not mine, and I don't know why
I never did anything but love her
And she did nothing but leave
It kills me to see her the way she is
You don't even know what you did, do you?
She's changed for life – she'll never be the same
It's all because of you – do you even care?
My second poem on fanfiction. This was also part of my school project. And my teacher also had no idea what it was really about. Hmm...
Well, this is a little confusing. For one thing, the title makes absolutely NO sense. And, even though it's about Dovewing/Tigerheart/Ivypool, it's kind of half-made up in my own head. But there is some truth to it right?
...right?
EDIT: It has been brought to my attention just how dumb I am. Gaah, I'm sorry! Thank you the Dancing With the Rain and moonlightmenuett for letting me know, I guess I just assume too much cause it's out of my own head. Anyways, stanza one - Dovewing - stanza two - Tigerheart - stanza three - Ivypool
