Hey. This story is a part of The What? I Don't Ship This! Comepetion. This about a forbidden romance between Percy and certain goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. I hope you all like.

They met in secret. That was the way it always was. That was the way it would always have to be. No was supposed to know of their relationship.

"Percy we can't keep doing this," said the goddess as her demigod prince held her tight against him.

"I would rather have all Olympus against us then lose you," Percy said pressing a kiss against Athena's ivory temple.

They continued their date. Percy had outdone himself this time. He had gotten them tickets to see one of her favorite musicals. Wicked. She loved the tale of how the Wicked Witch turned into the evil creature she ended up as. She had been dropping hints to Percy that she wanted to see it for a while now.

As the performance went on Percy couldn't help but keep his attention on the goddess beside him. Although the performance was great. He liked to watch her expression change with as the scenes changed. He knew she felt for Elphaba because they were in a similar situation. Elphie couldn't be with Fioro because he was married and Athena couldn't be with Percy because she was married to her job. Maiden goddess after all.

"Are you enjoying the show?" Athena asked him during intermission.

Percy nodded. "I am," he said. "But I think I should be asking you that."

"I am as well."

They watched to the end. Not knowing that another couple had seen them.

Ares stared in shock. He nudged Aphordite in the ribs and pointed the couple out. Aphordite nearly spit her drink out. She was the only Olympian who knew of Percy and Athena's relationship.

"It's not them," she told Ares before ushering him back to their seats in the balcony.

The play ended without another hitch. No one bothered Percy and Athena. Not that would notice they were lost in each other.

Percy then proceeded to take Athena to their favorite dinner and ordered their favorite meal. Burgers and fries.

"I had a wonderful time Percy," said Athena. "But I have to call it a night. And you have to go back to camp and my daughter Annabeth."

He wanted to tell her that Annabeth meant nothing to him. Compared to Athena Annabeth was no one. But he decided he couldn't risk both of them to confess his feelings to her. So he bid her a simple farwell. Giving her a kiss.

Athena trudged off to her temple. Her thoughts on Percy and how they were unhappily meant to be but could never actually be.

Well this was sort of on my mind since I saw this competion and it was just begging to be written down. So here it is. Percy and Athena would make an interesting couple. No? Please tell me what you think in a review.
