a/n: i'm not really sure. i'm bored.
disclaimer: i don't own this joint. end.
she was always so cheerful, like a child almost. she just had that innocence about her that drove him mad. she was the last thing you'd expect from a being that does not exist. he was just crazy about her, and people called him crazy for him. riku thought that he was crazy too, but it didn't really matter now did it? you see, riku was always so uptight and edgy. he had a shell that was so difficult to break through. it was difficult to make him melt, but she made him melt like sea salt ice cream that sat out in the sun for too long.
she was so perfect in so many ways. she was perfect, talented, and skilled in everything she did. the way her dainty fingers would run through his silver locks and the way those cherry colored lips would playfully smile at him when he'd answer every single annoying question she had. she was exactly like the brunette waiting back home for him, her memory wiped of the only boy who ever stood between him; she was exactly like the blonde who sat in her little white dress spending her entire day drawing, which was completely and downright in love with him. what made her so special? every girl nearly killed themselves just to get riku to say 'hello' to them, and she of all people got him wrapped around her finger just by smiling? many could say she was one hell of a woman.
"oh please oh pretty please, your greatness oh riku?" she teased, sarcasm lacing her every word.
it wasn't that he cared at all; he just enjoyed making her beg, even if she was never serious. "oh fine." riku accepted. she excited bit her lip, as if this were the first time she had ever seen past his shield. she reached forward, untying the blindfold slowly and soon enough sat back down to look at his aquamarine eyes that she enjoyed oh so very much to see.
"beautiful." she murmured. he hated it when she'd call him beautiful, because he was really a monster. it frustrated him that he had such a terrible, heartless (literally) being inside of him. "it's not." he muttered, "it's a monster." his entire mood had changed, he was angry and upset not at her - but him. he believed that he was a maniac, for even having the slightest hope that something like her would even want a monster like him. he could now really relate to beast. he quickly snatched the blindfold back, about to put it on
"bah, humbug!" she hissed, snatching the blindfold from him. "you're such an emo kid, i swear."
he felt dumb.
"now quick moving, whining, and complaining, will'ya?" she rolled her eyes, "i'd like to be able to cut your hair sometime today!"
"can we put the blindfold back on?"
"it will get it the way."
"okay."
you know, riku wouldn't trust most people to cut his very precious locks of silver hair with a pair of enchanted scissors, but he trusted her. for two reasons; one, he needed a trim badly, and two, he loved her.
"oh god-shit."
"i don't like the sound of that, xion."
end.
amazing right? i just sort of wrote this from scratch. it all just came to me at once.
i'm not sure how i feel about it.
