Always and Forever-1

"And THAT'S how my day was!" A cheerful voice finished loudly, almost scaring the birds in the nearby trees. The man sitting beside her chuckled, "Well, young Jubilee, that was quite a tale...I'm sure it all happened, especially about the fire-breathing dragon." The young girl nodded, suddenly becoming solemn, her unusual blue eyes big, "And did I tell you how I beat him, with my platinum sword?" Jean Luc LaBeau laughed good-heartedly, "About 50 times."
Jubilee grinned at him, large gaps in her mouth showed lost teeth. "How was your day, Mister LeBo?"
Jean Luc had to smile at the childs simple mispronounciation of his name. As he did everyday, he corrected her gently, "It's LaBeau, darlin'," And his eyes took on a mock-sad look. "My day was like all the others...I sit here, feed the birds, and impatiently await you and your imaginative stories."
Jubilee's short bob of black hair bounced as she jumped up and down, "Tell me one of the stories when you were my age!" she exclaimed excitedly.
Jubilation Lee was a small child of a mere 7 years, with ocean blue eyes, and a Korean look about her. Her eyes looked a bit strange with her black hair, and Korean lo, but her personality had so much mischievousness and playfulness, that it looked adorable on her slightly chubby face. She was wearing a pink shirt, and black shorts. One of the unique things about Jubilee was how each article of clothing had a bit, if not covered, in yellow.
Jean Luc stroked his goatee, his light french accent beginning to appear into his words, as usual. His red-on-black eyes turned to Jubilee, "Did I tell you abou' story about de frog?" He asked, not caring if Jubilee saw his eyes. Like himself, he was glad that Jubilee cared about the man's soul, and not about his appearence, as frightening as it may be.
Everyday after school, Jubilee would come and meet Jean Luc, in the park, to tell him about her day, her troubles, and her victories. To her, Jean Luc was a father figure, as well as a mother. Her mother died, while in childbirth, and a few years later, her father passed away, the result of a racist hate crime. But according to Jubilee, they had some important work in another part of the world, and she was content with that. As long as Jean Luc was there, she would be just fine.
Jubilee laid her head on his lap, and readied herself for an enjoying story....

10 years later...
A curvy, Korean women in her late teens walked up the park's pathway, calling out, "Jean Luc!!" Her eyes shined with excitment, and satisfaction. "I just----" Her mouth dropped.
The bench was empty.
The bench Jean Luc was empty.
Jubilee's eyes frantically searched the park, *No, no...maybe he went for a walk...Yeah...yeah, that must be it.* Jubilee thought in grim defience.
Her blue eyes sought out her friend coming towards her. She blinked, she thought she had just seen tears---"Selene!" Jubilee cried, running towards her, "Whats the matter?!"
Selene sobbed, "Jean Luc...oh, baby, I'm sorry..."
Jubilee froze, "...what happened...?" She looked up, fearing the answer. Jean Luc wa in great shape...he didn't smoke, do drugs, or anything that would damage his health. So what happened?
Selene straightened up, "Jean Luc...he had a stroke this morning." She clasped Jubilee's trembleling hands with hers, as she uttered the last sentence.
"He couldn't stop it. He's gone, Jubilee, he's gone."
