"Um, coconut?"

"Easy enough," Clare giggled as she reached into the big heart-shaped box for another chocolate. She offered another one to her blindfolded sweetheart's mouth and he bit off half.

He took his time chewing, considering the possibilities. "Butterscotch," he determined confidently.

She nodded again, grinning helplessly. Chocolate was getting boring. She supported her wrists back against the ground as she pressed her lips to his softly, indulging herself in the taste before pulling back. A moment of silence passed, only the simple sounds of nature filling the air.

Eli ran his tongue over his lip, satisfied. "Sugar," he smirked. "Pure sugar."

Clare's lips broke out in a smile as she leant forward and gently lifted the bright red cloth up off his eyes. He raised his eye brows at her playfully and she laughed.

Throwing the blindfold aside with one hand, he wrapped the other around her neck and covered her mouth over fully with his, catching her up in a deep kiss. She let out a blissful sigh, staring down at his mouth in a daze. He grabbed onto her wrists suddenly, catching her off guard and pinning her down against the ground. They fought back and forth in the grass for a bit before she gave in and let him take control.

He stroked a hand up and down her side, tugging at the fabric on her shirt to test the limits. He rested his elbow down above her head as he carefully lowered his body down closer to hers. She raked her fingers up through his hair, rocking her hips in perfect sync with his. Eli slid his tongue through to lick against hers before brushing it over her lips as he broke away.

"Happy Valentine's Day, love," he breathed against her mouth. "Be mine?"

"Forever," Clare whispered back before pulling him back to her once again.
