16-year-old Ariel Sumisu was what most would consider an ordinary Leaf Village chunnin. She laughed, talked everyone's ear off, and flirted whenever possible. She was friends with Naruto and the sand siblings, but Orochimaru, Sakura, and Sasuke simply made her blood boil. Especially that Sasuke; he was always so stuck-up and annoying, thinking he was better than everyone else was. She liked his brother Itachi so much better. In fact, she even harbored a secret crush on Itachi-not that she'd told anyone. Her family was dead, so she lived by herself in a cozy little house next to Temari. She harbored a stash of graphic romance novels and pervy books. Half the time she was quite the perv herself, and that got her in trouble, but she hid the books well, reading them whenever she could.
It was Tuesday morning, and all was well. Ariel went to check the mail, and there was an invitation to a party from Iruka. The sand siblings would be there, as would Naruto and undoubtedly Sasuke and Sakura, who would likely be sucking face all night. She would put up with it though. It would be a great opportunity for flirting. Maybe she'd even convince Iruka to let them play minutes in heaven…and then she would pick him out of the hat and things would go from there…and maybe she could try out a few things from her new books. Ariel could hardly wait just thinking about how much fun that party was going to be! "Hey, Ariel!" shouted a voice she recognized as Temari's. "You coming to the party at Iruka's too?"
"Yeah, I just got my invitation. I think I'll get there early so I can hope Iruka plan…" Ariel let out an evil chuckle.
"Well, it should certainly be interesting with YOU helping plan. Just don't put up pictures of naked guys and girls." Tamari teased. She always enjoyed poking light-hearted fun at Ariel's perverseness. She was definitely cool with Ariel's bisexuality, too. That made no difference to her-and why should it?
"Don't worry, I won't," Ariel replied, grinning. "And I promise to only be drunk half the night. Maybe three-quarters. Oh, hell, never mind. I can't make promises—I'll never keep them."
"C'mon, let's walk over to Iruka's house. I'll drop you off there and leave you two alone," Temari's voice dropped suggestively.
The two of them chatted, laughed, and joked all the way to Iruka's house, where the fun was surely to begin.
