OUCH!
The doors of the Great Hall slammed open.
"SEVERUS SNAPE, YOU SLIMY, GREASY GIT, GET YOUR ARSE DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT!"
The whole hall turned as one to watch a pretty, middle-aged witch stride down the aisle, her long black hair flowing loosely down her back. Dark, hard eyes flashed in utter fury as she approached the high table.
Snape quickly scooted around the table, meeting her at the base of the podium.
"Selena, do be sensible, we don't want a scene," Snape sounded just this side of desperate.
CRACK!
"Oh, but Sevvy-kins, you know I do so love a scene. What are you going to do about it?" she snarled viciously. A stark, red handprint flamed its way across Snape's cheek.
"Was that strictly necessary?"
"No, but it made me feel better! Where the bloody hell have you been? You just disappear one night and then expect me just to keep waiting and waiting for you to decide to show up, tail between your legs. Well, not anymore, Severus Aldric Snape! I…" she paused triumphantly, "Am moving in."
"Selena, you can't, it's not safe, I've told you!" Snape protested.
"Do I look like some kind of house wife? Letting you go running off into danger while I sit there keeping Spinner's End from going to ruin without so much as a house elf to keep me company! Well you'll just have to get used to it. I'm having my things moved in today so that I can live with my husband for the first time since we married!" she huffed.
"Whoa, Snape's got a wife? When did that happen?" Ron whispered to Harry. He was just a bit of the sea muttering.
Draco sighed, flipping his legs over the bench and walking towards the arguing couple. He had to greet the woman before she turned and sank her teeth into him instead. He was quite happy with his unbitten state, thank you!
"Hello, Aunt Selena," he smiled. She might have fangs, but she was still his favorite aunt.
"Hello, Draco, how are you doing?"
"Oh fine, just enjoying watching you rip into Uncle Sev," he chuckled easily.
"Well go back to eating, then. I'm going to escort you uncle back to our quarters to have a serious chat with him," she glared. Snape gulped.
Harry, Ron, and most of the student were snickering as Snape was marched out of the Great Hall by his ear.
