I swam through my tank, bored out of my mind. I wondered when the food in a box would arrive. I debated this for a while before resting on a rock. I slowly fell into a rather trace like sleep.

bloop

I jolted! Looking around franticly, reading my jets of inky black ink to protect myself. Instead I noticed there was food hanging over the side of the tank. I paused, slowly swimming over before deciding it was safe. Using my 8 tentacles to propel myself swiftly to the water, I suctioned myself to the side of the tank and looked at the food. It was strange. Pink and peachy colored.. I wrapped a tentacle around it and yanked. The food shuttered, and I heard a noise, but it didn't come loose. Perplexed I wrapped a second tentacle around it and made all the cups stuck to this weird food. Using the tentacle on the glass window I pushed against the glass and once again pulled the food. There was another shudder, and the food slid closer to me, but it was still attached to the weird tube. I took my tentacles off, and pondered for a moment.

How do I get the food off..

Then it came to me. I'll use more tentacles! Leaving the one to rest on the glass, I wrapped seven tentacles around the weird tube and readied myself. Then I pulled with all my strength. Almost immediately I was hit with something. I freaked out, yanking back off the glass. The food must still be alive.. and it must have ink like mine! But.. this food's ink was white.. and it was goopy. It floated around in small droplets, not mingling well with the water in my tank. Suddenly I was lifted out of my tank and the droplets that had landed on me slid off, helped by the slime on my skin. I looked up very slowly, and found myself in the arms of some weird beast. It might have been part of the food, though I doubted it. He was brown at the top, before being the same color the weird tube was until the center of his body, where he was red and yellow. I squirmed, feeling short of breath. The weird creature pulled me close to it's red and orange core, before making noises I'd never heard before.
