hey look, I wrote something! I'm sorry if you're reading my other fics. I've no idea when or if I'll update them. I'm feeling but it awful and I don't have a huge amount of time and... Well I'm sorry ok. This was written at two am, so I'm sorry

Almost nobody was around, as the snow fell heavily from the sky. The silence, however, was soon broken by a certain young family. Ron, Hermione, Rose and Hugo had decided to brave the harsh weather and take a walk. They were all bundled up, almost no part of skin visible in an attempt to protect themselves from the snow. Hugo, only five, was sitting on his father's shoulders and Rose was skipping along, holding her mother's hand. The good mood and festive cheer that the snow brought with it was infectious and even Hermione, usually stressed about her work and the Ministry, was laughing.

'Look mummy!' Said Hugo, and Hermione looked up just in time to see her son drop a handful of collected snow onto Ron's face. Ron stopped abruptly, coughing and spluttering at the snow that had gotten into his mouth. Hugo shrieked with laughter at this, Rose giggled, and even Hermione had to hold back a smile.

'You little scamp,' said Ron, lifting the laughing boy off his shoulders. 'You'll pay for that!' He put Hugo down on the ground, who instantly turned and ran from his father, still shrieking with laughter. Ron grinned and began chasing the boy, quickly followed by Rose.

'Be careful!' Called out Hermione as she watched her family run through the snow. She grinned as Ron got pelted with snowball after snowball by her two very hyper children. She became wary, however when they all stopped and she saw Ron whispering to the children.

'Get Mummy!' Yelled Hugo, proving Hermione's worries to be true. She yelped, quickly turning to run. Two or three snowballs whizzed passed her ears, before one hit her squarely in the back.

'I got Mummy!' Yelled Rose gleefully and, despite the snow trickling down the neck of her coat, Hermione smiled.

'Try and get me again!' She yelled, running from her two children. She failed to remember, however, her biggest child. Ron soon grabbed her by the waist and spun her around, making it Hermione's turn to shriek. He buried his face, still covered with snow, into her cheek, causing her to shiver. Soon, Rose and Hugo had caught up with their parents, snow balls ready to fire.

Hours later, when they all stumbled into their cottage, Ron and Hermione carrying an exhausted Hugo and Rose, they were still laughing. Soon, they were all gathered around the fireplace, the two children out of their wet clothes and snuggled up in pyjamas. Ron made hot-chocolate as Hermione selected her favourite tale from the Beedle of the Bard to read. And soon, the two children were asleep, curled up on Ron's lap, snoring gently. As Hermione and Ron carried them up to bed, they both smiled. Neither of them had ever thought that their lives would end up like this. It had been a bumpy ride but this... This was perfect.

Hope you enjoyed it!
